So frustrating to learn I am reading an adulterated text! It has been slow going for me, an underliner, margin noting, re-reading several times to make sure I got the ideas reader of this book. I SO looked forward to it after seeing Bp Williamson's YT videos. My copy was printed in ... 2021!
The Religion of Man idea comes thru pretty clear, and the diagrams are useful summaries ( I hope*) of the main ideas.
What do I do now? I am about at the 50% mark after many weeks of occasional reading sessions... thanks Matthew for your translation of a portion!
Would be good to have pointed out the parts that got edited. Calderon definitely seems even in the English version to be death on the conciliar concepts... how did SSPX edit it to make it look like it would be okay to have a rapprochement with Rome? The translated prologue seems to indicate that Calderon was/is not down with BXVI's 'hermeneutic of continuity' and clearly sees Conciliarism as a BREAK with Tradition, inverting the proper order of Man subject to God and NOT the other way around...
*Has someone looked at the diagrams in the English version, and if so, are they still reliable?
