    Fatima Consecration – I
When modern men away from God did turn,
Our Lady, trying to help, they did but spurn.

When last May four bishops in Vienna, Virginia, in the United States, did what they could to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, they used a formula for the Consecration never used before, and which was somewhat different from the usual formulas. It included a brief history of Our Lady’s request for the Consecration, showing how the leaders of the Church failed, and are still failing, to respond adequately to Heaven’s simple solution to the unprecedented problems of today’s Church and world. The purpose of such a formula was to help everybody to realize that these otherwise insoluble problems are the fault not of Almighty God but of a lack of faith on the part of His churchmen. They must do what Our Lady asked them to do, despite whatever Vatican II makes them want to do. What disasters will it take to make them finally do what She wants, to save all of us? Here is the first half of the Virginia Consecration:—
Most Holy Mother of God, Immaculate Heart of Mary, Seat of Mercy, Seat of Goodness, Seat of Pardon, sure door by which souls are to enter Heaven, see on their knees before you four sons of Archbishop Lefebvre, four bishops striving to do what they can to help you to obtain from the Pope and bishops of your Divine Son’s one true Church that Consecration of Russia to your Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart which can alone obtain peace for mankind, now in the shadow of a frightful third World War. In Fatima, Portugal, one hundred years ago, you first warned mankind of the Second World War to come, of famine and persecutions, if people would not cease offending God. To prevent these disasters, you promised to return to ask for the Consecration of Russia to your Immaculate Heart, and for the Communion of Reparation on First Saturdays. If your requests were heeded, Russia would be converted, and there would be peace. If not, disasters would follow and Rus sia would spread its errors throughout the world. Within the next 12 years you returned as you had promised, and you made the double request.
However, trusting in human means to solve the Church’s grave problems, the Catholic churchmen did not immediately do what you had requested. Two years later your Divine Son Himself warned mankind through Sister Lucy of Fatima, that since His ministers were delaying to carry out His command, they would suffer grave consequences: Russia would spread its errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church, and the Pope would suffer greatly. Still the Pope preferred his human means of dealing with Russia.
In 1936 Our Lord explained to Sister Lucy that Russia’s conversion depended upon its consecration to your Immaculate Heart because He wanted the whole Church to recognize that that conversion was a triumph of your Heart, so that devotion to your Heart would rank alongside devotion to His own Sacred Heart.
Still the churchmen hesitated, so that in 1939 the terrible Second World War broke out, and all over the world Communism extended its power. Immediately after the war your pilgrim statues of Fatima had great success, but still the churchmen would not do exactly as you had requested, and so in 1957 before Sister Lucy was silenced by the churchmen, she expressed your own sadness that neither good people nor bad people had paid attention to the message of Fatima. You said that the good people gave it no importance, while the bad cared nothing about it. But you warned us once more that a terrible punishment was imminent.
For that punishment, see next week’s “Eleison Comments.”
    Kyrie eleison.

  • Sister Lucy was silenced ?

Why, these photos show her talking and even entertaining newChurch leaders after 1957 ?

His Excellency must be mistaken ?

The pictures you posted are of the "fake" Sr. Lucy. Father Gruner covered the story and later, TIA exposed it too. The first link I'm posting is from the Fatima Crusader, the second is from TIA which compares a lot of pictures.

  • I would try and convert Portugal first, a place so keen to dump the past and embrace the new order. But, if Russia is now regarded as more Christian than the West without Rome's discouragement, the Fatima story does not quite chime with 21st century reality. And to be honest it would be a great impudence for the 'bishops of the world' wallowing in their irredeemability to lecture Russia on something these scions of comfort trashed a long time ago.

The familiar doom and gloomery that goes with endless prophetic utterances is not causing some of us to recreate Noah's Ark in advance of that flood that never seems to come. The forests of the world are safe. Perhaps I have seen too many emails that warn of economic, social and political calamity  ......  if you don't sign up for a subscription now! The cliff-hanging nature of the bishop's spiels continues unabated and is leading us all to the psychiatric couch.

    .
You're right, Incredulous, she doesn't look very silent here.
    .
    Maybe that's a stand-up comic impersonating her.
    .
SNL could have a whole new run with this, but their audience would be in the dark.

Yes, intriguing that is, is it not?  In this episode we see in this "consecration", which is not at all what Our Lady had requested, the insertion of Archbishop Lefebvre and the SSPX bishops into the historicity of the Fatima narrative.
It rings in the tones and inspirations of the current crop of visionaries. But,what will the next chapter reveal?

It sounds like you're saying that Fatima, an approved apparition of the church, is a bunch of hogwash?

  • To clarify a point I was hoping to make, Sister Lucy's last known public interview on Fatima with Father Fuentes in 1957, was the prophetic cypher for what Catholics need to know.

Sister Lucy's last message to Catholics

And it does fit with our current reality and Bp. Williamson's gloomy outlook:

    1. We will infiltrated and betrayed by our Church leaders.
    2. We will be surrounded by our enemies (Jєωs, pagans, heretics & freemasons).
    3. We will lose the Sacraments.
    4. We will be scattered, reduced to a rag-tag remnant, armed with only our Rosaries and Devotion to the Immaculate Heart.

Our consolation is that the supernatural genius behind the Virgin's Holy Rosary prayers will prevail.

    Notes:

    1. I apologize for my use of sarcasm to put the "2-Sister Lucy's" topic in play.
Although the message has been repeatedly obscured and hijacked, I don't intend to evoke cynicism on the topic of Fatima.

    2. Here's the TIA link and a copy of Sr. Lucy's sobering explanation, in case you want to distribute it:  Sr. Lucy's last warning

    Sister Lucy’s Last Public Interview - 1957

    Fr. Augustin Fuentes

    Quote
A reader recently noted that the interview Sister Lucy gave to Fr. Augustin Fuentes in 1957, is always partially reported, and asked TIA if we could post the full text. To assist in this request we are now posting the most complete text available of the 1957 interview with our own translation from the original Spanish. Fr. Augustín Fuentes was the Mexican priest named vice-postulator of the cause of beatification for Francisco and Jacinta. In that interview Sr. Lucy said that Our Lady told her: “The last means that God will give to the world for its salvation are the Holy Rosary and My Immaculate Heart.”

This important conversation of December 26, 1957 was the last public interview of Sr. Lucy. After it, permission was refused for any other interviews and she was effectively silenced and completely hidden away for the next several decades.

Another very jovial Sr. Lucy appeared 10 years later in 1967 during Paul VI’s visit to Fatima. This Sr. Lucy, square-faced, cheerful and robust – incredibly different from the oval faced, sad and pale Sr. Lucy who spoke to Fr. Fuentes - was seen more regularly starting in 1982, after John Paul II’s visit to Fatima. [See our Two Sister Lucys' analysis]

These are the authentic words of her 1957 conversation with Fr. Fuentes, which came from the records of the official archivist of Fatima, Fr. Joaquín María Alonso, CMF. Fr. Alonso spoke with Sr. Lucy and publicly testified that her statements to Fr. Fuentes in 1957 were genuine and true.

This text is from his book, La verdad sobre el Secreto de Fátima, Fátima sin mitos [The Truth about the Secret of Fatima without Myths ]. The text has the approval and imprimatur of Archbishop Sánchez of Santa Cruz, Mexico.

What follows is the literal translation of Fr. Fuentes' text reporting what he heard "from the lips of" the seer of Fatima.    TIA

    Interview of December 26, 1957

Speaking to the sisters of Motherhouse of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart in Mexico on May 22, 1958, Fr. Fuentes said, “I want to tell you the last conversation I had with her [Sister Lucy], which was on December 26 of last year. It was in the convent, where I found her very sad, pale and drawn.”

A very grave Sister Lucia in 1957
He then proceeded to read Sister’s Lucy’s words to him at the December 26, 1957, interview:

“Father, the Blessed Virgin is very sad because no one has paid attention to her Message, neither the good nor the bad. The good, because they continue on the road of goodness, but without paying mind to this Message. The bad, because of their sins, do not see God’s chastisement already falling on them presently; they also continue on their path of badness, ignoring the Message. But, Father, you must believe me that God is going to punish the world and chastise it in a tremendous way.

“The chastisement from Heaven is imminent. The year 1960 is on us, and then what will happen? It will be very sad for everyone, and far from a happy thing if the world does not pray and do penance before then. I cannot give more details, because it is still a secret. By the will of the Blessed Virgin, only the Holy Father and the Bishop of Fatima can know the secret. Both have chosen, however, not to open it in order not to be influenced by it. (1)

“This is the third part of the Message of Our Lady, which still remains secret until 1960. Tell them, Father, that the Blessed Virgin said repeatedly – to my cousins Francisco and Jacinta as well as to me – that many nations would disappear from the face of the earth, that Russia would be the instrument of chastisement from Heaven for the whole world if the conversion of that poor Nation is not obtained beforehand. …”

A decisive battle with the Devil

    Sr. Lucy also told me:

    Fr. Augustin Fuentes
“Father, the Devil is fighting a decisive battle against the Virgin and, as you know, what most offends God and what will gain him the greatest number of souls in the shortest time is to gain the souls consecrated to God. For this also leaves unprotected the field of the laity and the Devil can more easily seize them.

”Also, Father, tell them that my cousins Francisco and Jacinta made sacrifices because they always saw the Blessed Virgin was very sad in all her apparitions. She never smiled at us. This anguish that we saw in her, caused by offenses to God and the chastisements that threaten sinners, penetrated our souls. And being children, we did not know what measures to devise except to pray and make sacrifices. …”

We cannot wait for Rome to speak

Referring to the vision of Hell that Our Lady showed her and Jacinta and Francisco, she said:

“For this reason, Father, it is my mission not just to tell about the material punishments that will certainly come over the earth if the world does not pray and do penance. No, my mission is to tell everyone the imminent danger we are in of losing our souls for all eternity if we remain fixed in sin.

“Father, we should not wait for a call to the world from Rome on the part of the Holy Father to do penance. Nor should we wait for a call for penance to come from the Bishops in our Dioceses, nor from our Religious Congregations. No, Our Lord has often used these means, and the world has not paid heed. So, now each one of us must begin to reform himself spiritually. Each one has to save not only his own soul, but also all the souls that God has placed on his pathway.

Two last remedies to save the world

“Father, the Blessed Virgin did not tell me that we are in the last times of the world, but I understood this for three reasons:

“The first is because she told me that the Devil is engaging in a battle with the Virgin, a decisive battle. It is a final battle where one party will be victorious and the other will suffer defeat. So, from now on, we are either with God or we are with the Devil; there is no middle ground.

“The second reason is because she told me, as well as my cousins, that God is giving two last remedies to the world: the Holy Rosary and devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. And, being the last remedies, that is to say, they are the final ones, means that there will be no others.

'Our Lady never smiled. She was always very sad'
“And the third, because in the plans of the Divine Providence, when God is going to chastise the world He always first exhausts all other remedies. When He sees that the world pays no attention whatsoever, then, as we say in our imperfect way of talking, with a certain fear He presents us the last means of salvation, His Blessed Mother.

If we despise and reject this last means, Heaven will no longer pardon us, because we will have committed a sin that the Gospel calls a sin against the Holy Spirit. This sin consists in openly rejecting – with full knowledge and will – the salvation that is put in our hands.

“Also, since Our Lord is a very good Son, He will not permit that we offend and despise His Blessed Mother. We have as obvious testimony the history of different centuries where Our Lord has shown us with terrible examples how He has always defended the honor of His Blessed Mother.

“Prayer and sacrifice are the two means to save the world. As for the Holy Rosary, Father, in these last times in which we are living, the Blessed Virgin has given a new efficacy to the praying of the Holy Rosary. This in such a way that there is no problem that cannot be resolved by praying the Rosary, no matter how difficult it is - be it temporal or above all spiritual - in the spiritual life of each of us or the lives of our families, be they our families in the world or Religious Communities, or even in the lives of peoples and nations.

“I repeat, there is no problem, as difficult as it may be, that we cannot resolve at this time by praying the Holy Rosary. With the Holy Rosary we will save ourselves, sanctify ourselves, console Our Lord and obtain the salvation of many souls.

“Then, there is devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, our Most Holy Mother, holding her as the seat of mercy, goodness and pardon and the sure door to enter Heaven. This is the first part of the Message referring to Our Lady of Fatima, and the second part, which is briefer but no less important, refers to the Holy Father.”

    Quote
    1. In 1943, the Bishop of Fatima José Correia da Silva authorized Sister Lucia to write down the Third Secret during her bout with pleurisy, which threatened her life. On June 17, 1944, this docuмent was officially placed in his hands. When Sister Lucia gave the letter to Bishop da Silva, she told him that he could read it, but he refused. Instead, he ordered the sealed docuмent to be kept in the safe of the Episcopal Curia. Pope Pius XII also chose not to read the message, and left it in the care of Bishop da Silva until 1957, when the sealed envelope was sent to Rome at his request.
"Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it underfoot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor but a destroyer."  St. Francis of Assisi

  • Thank you. Incredulous-

My statement was flippant and cynical as well. It's unfortunately my gallows humor in response to the cataclysmic charade of the "2nd Lucy" and all the other lies constantly being imposed on us by the consiliar Church to the detriment of souls.
I in no means meant to denegrate OLOF's true message in any way. She is our only hope.

    Fatima Consecration – II
Head on, Our Lady and the Council clash –
Not heeding her, the universe will crash!

Here is the second and last part of the formula of Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, as used by four bishops in the United States three months ago:—
Just three years later that punishment began with the churchmen’s refusal to make public the third part of your Secret message of Fatima, which you had asked them to publish at the latest in 1960. By an almost unpardonable lie they pretended that you had told them, that from 1960 onwards they might publish it, and this effort of theirs to stifle your message of Fatima has continued ever since, culminating in the year 2000. But you have never given up your attempts to save us, while the churchmen were even more severely punished by the blindness which overwhelmed them at the Second Vatican Council. In the third part of the Secret it is most likely that you had warned against exactly the errors which prevailed at that Council. And now the entire Church is in darkness, and the world is on the brink of the third and most terrible World War.
Immaculate Heart of Mary, most Holy Mother of God, we cry to you in our distress. Help of Christians, Refuge of Sinners, Comforter of the Afflicted we trust in you. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, Mother of the Church, we implore your most loving, maternal and Immaculate Heart to have mercy upon us poor sinners, your children; hear and answer our plea. We beg of you to obtain from your Divine Son, the graces necessary for the Holy Father and the bishops to fulfil without further delay the long-standing command of Heaven, by consecrating with the bishops of the entire world, Holy Russia to your Immaculate Heart, as was requested and in the manner requested by you, on behalf of the Most Holy Trinity so long ago, and which has yet to be accomplished.
Immaculate Heart of Mary, you know how much suffering mankind would have avoided over the last 90 years i f only one of the Popes during that time had heeded your request for the Consecration of Russia. Mother of God, you and your Divine Son alone know what a frightful chastisement is now hanging over the heads of mankind if the Popes, for whatever inadequate human reasons, still refuse your request. If it depends upon them, they are liable to prevaricate, although you told us one hundred years ago how much that would make them suffer. Mother of God, your Divine Son can refuse you nothing that you ask of Him. He wishes the Consecration to depend on you, because He wishes your Immaculate Heart to be honoured as the source of the Consecration’s triumph. Holy Mother of God, most humbly upon our knees we beg of you to obtain those graces needed by the Pope to perform the Consecration.
Meanwhile before you here today, we commend, we entrust, and we do whatever lies within our own power, to consecrate Russia to your Immaculate Heart , not because we can remotely t ake the place of the Pope and the bishops of the whole world, but because we wish to honour your requests as far as we can. If only Holy Russia became Catholic once more, the Eastern Church might resurrect the Western Church, presently devastated by materialism and atheism. Mother of God, we commend our own selves also to your protection and to your all-powerful intercession with Our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings, but who is at the same time a Son who infinitely loves His Mother, and will do anything she asks. Beloved and Blessed Mother, we have not a shadow of doubt that in the end your Immaculate Heart will triumph.
It stands to reason that Almighty God would not leave mankind without some simple means to turn back towards Him, if it wanted. It also stands to reason, if men offended Him too much, that He would entrust these means to His Mother. Hence Fatima. Every one of us must pray the Rosary and practise the devotion of the First Sat urdays, so that at last the churchmen fulfil her simple request.
    Kyrie eleison.

  • The Holy Virgin was quite particular and very specific in what was REQUIRED to be done. She gave NO options for alternative or deficient replications of the necessary acts. This is not it!

"Padre Pio urged the frequent recitation of the prayer, 'O Jesus, save the elect in the hour of darkness.' " [ p.73 " Padre Pio: A Catholic Priest Who Worked Miracles And Bore The Wounds Of Jesus Christ On His Body." by Bro. Michael Dimond.]

  • The Holy Virgin was quite particular and very specific in what was REQUIRED to be done. She gave NO options for alternative or deficient replications of the necessary acts. This is not it!
When will be the end of this Forrest Gumpery?
If the mainstream church now uses Fatima as a place for ecuмenical experimentation, the secrets would seem to have no bearing on such developments except to warn of them. We can therefore rule out any positive reaction from Rome. And few would give credence to her losing the faith. Thus traditionalists are the only group giving it a place in their repertoire with varying degrees of significance. It is interesting here seeing the bishop taking it on himself to stand in for a pope and the bishops of the world. Though he would stress that it is merely a rehearsal, he could be planting a suggestion that his group of bishops is the only one left standing capable of performing such a consecration!

Certain visionaries have proposed that the SSPX are to be a critically necessary element to the saving of the Church. Bishops Fellay and Williamson believe it, and Fatima is an irresistibly soft target for furthering such ideas, and so projecting one's self into the historical narrative is a good way to bolster that predicted destiny.
