  • What do you mean by "honest"?
If you mean that it is your opinion without doing any actual research beyond what is spoon-fed by the corporate media, then I guess you are free to think of yourself as being "honest" in your subjective opinion.
From the perspective of objective reality however, in order to be truly honest in an era of fakenews, one has the responsibility to complete one's research prior to coming to any conclusion. Have you done any research? Have you even looked at the information posted to back up the good Bishop?
I’ve already stated, I don’t do FAKE NEWS.  Ive known FAKE NEWS was fake long before it was brought to the rest of the worlds attention.
I’ve been a traditional catholic longer than you might think...I’ve seen it all and I’ve been down every road.
Now finally, I’d simply like to see the true catholic faith taught without all of the politics, the conspiracy theories, the cultish behavior, the I'm better and more holy than you, the here’s a list of my great trad catholic accomplishments, the I know more than you about the faith...because in the end...it’s about our birthright as Catholics to have our faith without the added confusions...I have yet to see it in any traditional catholic group...least of all the SSPX.
And I will add...the sedevacantists would absolutely rate at the top.

Well now you've really gone and done it.   :jester:

  • To be fair, political cօռspιʀαcιҽs have ALWAYS been part of the Church.  Even before the Church existed, Holy Scripture tells us that after Christ’s death the disciples were in hiding “for fear of the Jєωs”.

Have the enemies of Christ/Church disappeared in our day?  Then cօռspιʀαcιҽs exist and will continue against the Truth.

  • Right, and sedevacantism has no conspiracy theories.  Like they don’t believe there have been 5+ fake popes in a 50+ yr timeframe with hundreds of cardinals/bishops lying to billions of Catholics.  Nope, no conspiracy theories there (sarcasm alert)

    Did you say.... Jєωs?  :furtive:

  • Despite his weaknesses, +W may be the most technologically astute Catholic Bishop in the Western Hemisphere.

I recall how in two paragraphs, he disassembled тαℓмυdic Jєωery's entire gas chamber mythology, by explaining the simple, yet critical gas-expulsion function of a chimney (None existed in the German prison camps, as determined by Allied aerial reconnaissance photos).

This is very true. After all, Vatican II, modernism, the ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ network in the Church, the hierarchy promoting Communist goals, and the whole Crisis in the Church did not just happen by itself. It was and is the work of various groups conspiring against the Catholic Church.

  • If any one saith that true and natural water is not of necessity for baptism, and on that account wrests to some sort of metaphor those words of Our Lord Jesus Christ, "Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost...,"  Let Him Be Anathama.  -COUNCIL OF TRENT Sess VII Canon II “On Baptism"

I meant to say the sede position is most attractive to me after all I’ve done and seen...
I like the sede position too.  Makes the most sense to me since the Popes have been heretics and fαɢɢօts.
The trouble is that since the 9 left, they haven't been able to organise a piss up in a brewery, as far as growing and supplying the sacraments goes, at least to me here in the UK.  They are a practically non-existent.  They literally exist for themselves in pockets, and that makes me wonder, if the Holy Ghost is SV too why not help them grow and deliver the sacraments and mass all around the world like the SSPX does?
So it is like me finding a really great woman to marry but her being in jail for the next 40 years because she shot an abortionist doctor dead.  I am completely on her side, think she is fabulous, wish we could be together, but, I am going to have to settle for second best because I want sex, a warm woman in my bed and children.

  • Getting back on topic....for all those conspiracy theorists who seem to be so prevalent in traditional Catholic circles these days...it has already been determined that PGandE and SCE are at the very least partially to blame for the recent wildfires.  Poor governance by the liberals and a failing infra-structure, along with an over crowded state due to illegal immigration and open borders allowing an Asian invasion along with those from Central America and Mexico is the root of the problem.

I am a California native from Los Angeles county and I know what I’m talking about.  Oh by the way, I left that corrupt and ill-gotten state seven months ago.

  • Everyone has a right to his opinion. Maybe it would be more conducive to good conversation if you could explain what you mean by fringe conspiracy theories.  That verbiage surely is the product of MSM.
    Still no answer.

  • Bernadette, It appears that you cannot explain what you mean by fringe conspiracy theories, except to say they are "out there" whatever that means.  Can you give some examples, perhaps?

  • Do you really need examples?  Okay very well then.  How about...911 was an inside job?  Or maybe flat earthers?  This latest California wildfire one is a doozy.
