I heard Fr. Zendejas has joined the resistance. Has anyone else heard this?

Yes, I heard the same thing. And it's true.

Fr. Zendejas was in Sparta, NJ today. He said Mass and answered questions afterward. He said he left the SSPX of his own accord.

I wonder if it has to do with that "big thing" happening in the SSPX vs Rome rumor/speculation I just read about? I posted on Matthew's thread about Frank disallowing priests to say Mass; I have just read the exact opposite of what Matthew's heard, but the video linked is in French and I have no idea what to think.

But the news about Fr. Zendejas makes me think the Society is about to be (ahem) "embraced" by Rome, but probably not in the way the TLM/SSPX are, um, "hoping". (The responses to the quote, which said the SSPX is doing something big in France right now that has rumors flying that Frank's taking the SSPX back with Vatican concessions, are all across the spectrum, from "yay whoopie" to "three days of darkness are upon us".)

In any event, the Fr. Zendajas move warms my heart.
