This is a perfect example of warped reasoning and blindess of Trad heretics. They will point to alleged teachings of V2 or the post Vatican II popes that the Trads themselves profess to be false or heretical in order to justify their position/status.
Pax, do you believe all will be saved if they are sincere? If yes, then you are guilty of believing what you falsely accuse the Church today of teaching. If not, then you are condemned for being separated from the Catholic Church, even if you are sincere about your heresy and schism.
Rome's approach to the Orthodox applies to CMRI. There is no substantial difference between the Orthodox and various Trad groups. If v2 teaches that the Orthodox can be saved, then so can Trads.
