Dream about the Resistance

  • Last night I dreamt that I had another Mass at my house -- only instead of Fr. Pfeiffer or Fr. Hewko, it was Bishop Fellay!

We had a pretty good turnout, too. In fact, it seemed like people kept coming because (after all) we had a Bishop here.

I distinctly recall one of the more "doubtful about the Resistance" members of my local chapel giving me a gentle but firm statement that they don't support the Resistance.

I kept thinking how +Fellay's visit might damage the Resistance, as he charms the "lost sheep" back to sleep.

I remember wondering how the various Resistance supporters would react as they showed up and SURPRISE! this time around it's +Fellay!

I also remember respectfully discussing/arguing with him -- bringing up various valid/irrefutable points about what has happened in the past 16 months.

Matthew, if you knew Bp. Fellay was a mole, why did you let him in?  The chapel IS on your private property, isn't it?
:detective: Dr. Frances thinks you are suffering from paranoia.

  IMO, my "Resistance" dream was much better.  Fr. Pfeiffer secretly says Mass in a chapel disguised as chicken-coop, while the Feds are combing the area in search of him.  He walks out to the Dixie Hwy. and gets away by thumbing a ride with a semi-driver.  Everyone goes home with a dozen fresh eggs.
St. Francis Xavier threw a Crucifix into the sea, at once calming the waves.  Upon reaching the shore, the Crucifix was returned to him by a crab with a curious cross pattern on its shell.

I like your dream, Frances.  It's so POSSIBLE.

  • Well, if Bishop Fellay does show up to celebrate Mass at your house, please post the video.
Stir up within Thy Church, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the Spirit with which blessed Josaphat, Thy Martyr and Bishop, was filled, when he laid down his life for his sheep: so that, through his intercession, we too may be moved and strengthen by the same Spir

  • How strange... I had an unusual dream too!

I dreamed Bergy came to my house to give a talk and say mass.

We were surrounded by papal guards, secret service agent and hundreds of people.

It was a strange mix of protestants, mormons, messianic Jєωs and Conciliar charismatics.

Bergy did the novus ordo missae and cracked some hilarious Jєωιѕн jokes during the homily.

Then, after mass... he left very quickly.

As I watched him leave my property, I somehow came to realize... it had been Woody Allen... not Bergy who was in my dream !?!

    Man... it was so realistic

Msgr. Fellay couldn't... he wouldn't come into the midst of the SSPX Resistance, because he could not say anything.

As with his conspicuous silence in the past, so too he would be forced to act dumb to the hundreds of questions put to him.

If he did try answer a question... it would be as a politician, talking in circles and putting everyone to sleep.

    Dear Matthew,

I hate to break it to you like this, so I hope you're sitting down when
    you read this:

You Did Not Have A "Dream."  What You Had Was A NIGHTMARE.

But nonetheless, I would have loved to have 'been there.'    :cowboy:

  • Who needs dreams when you have reality?

Perhaps we are in a dream and will wake up find it is early 1960 and the Pope has instructed all the Bishops of the world to consecrate Russia by name to the IHM.

  • Dear Matthew,

It's hard to be serious after Incred's masterpiece, but~

This sounds to me as if some people had been praying for you.  Have you ever had the strong intuition you were being prayed for?  Dreams are really interesting, and while we are not supposed to place too much importance on them, they often do have a special meaning.

That's a very perceptive perception, Elizabeth.
