I love the part where he was going to Mass and somehow ended up at a TLM and never looked back. :cowboy:
I'm kind of reminded of the first time I ever assisted at the TLM, at an SSPX-associated chapel in the late 1980s, when I was new in town, in an area that had the TLM.  I had gone to the Latin Novus Ordo on occasion, and I had an old missal my father had found for me at an estate sale, so I thought it would be just like the Latin Novus Ordo, only with more elaborated prayers.  Like many a newcomer, I tried to follow along in the missal, tried to make the responses, and thought "it's going so fast, I can't hear a thing (I didn't realize it was largely celebrated in a whisper), I can't keep up".  I came out of the chapel wondering "was that a Mass?" and was totally befuddled.  But I went back, and went back again, and the rest is history.

I'm going to have to dig out my Brother Marcel caricatures (cards), both of Dr. White and Bp. Williamson. Br. Marcel is so talented, he made so many masterpieces in my opinion.

It was always a bright day when Br Marcel unveiled another card for everyone to sign.

If someone could collect all of them and publish a book, I'm sure it would sell!

Yes, his artistic abilities were beyond compare, and he could have done very well for himself making and repairing religious art, and also as an original artist himself.

He encouraged home schoolers to persevere.  Even if you play cards with your children, they are learning more. He also stated students coming into the Academy who did not home school, had troubles in their reading skills. He had to set up a remedial programs for them, before the students could go any further.
Prayers for you Dr. David Allen White

Interesting video. Thanks for sharing it. I had read his book on Bishop Castro de Mayer some years ago and enjoyed it. Did he ever write anything about Shakespeare? I would be interested in reading it. May he rest in peace.

There are a lot of his talks and probably other works on the web. This site looks like it's free to just listen, ( I see 4 talks) but $ for downloading.
Here he mentions that very young kids can learn many languages till age 5. ( Romeo)  Have you listened to his "SOUP" ADDRESS... on the occasion of + Z consecration? ..14 minutes= special treat. It's on CathInfo.
God bless+
