  • There is a quarrel within the Society of Saint Pius X. It started on the subject of a re-attachment between the Society, and the post-conciliar church of Rome. The Superior General, Bishop Bernard Fellay has prolonged behind closed-doors-negotiations with the Vatican with the purpose of obtaining a full recognition of the fraternity (of St. Pius X), and its critics (the bulk of the priests and of the faithfuls, as well as three other bishops) claim that those said negotiations will compromise the integrity of the "integrist camp" versus the disintegrated church of Rome. This is turning to presently be more than a "quarrel of monks". The tone of the quarrel has reached the point of name-calling, and it has become public. I was imposed a political speech during Mass on August 12, 2012 by the Superior General Fr. Arnault Rostand in Carson City, Nevada.

I had walked for three days through the high desert in order to go to Mass. This Mass was spoiled by a political speech, so I feel the obligation to get involved.

You have to understand the gravity of this quarrel, because the name-calling has reached words such as "heretic" (the name used by the Superior General was sedevacantist during this homely), and the other side is using the word "perjurer" (because of accusation of reneging the Oath Against Modernism taken by all the priests of the Society). This "quarrel" is serious. In perspective, since we are within boundaries of the language of the Church, imagine two factions of tenured university professors throwing pencils and erasers at each one another. One event is particularly disturbing, and it is the banning of a book. I am talking of a three volumes book titled "Les Sermons de Monseigneur Lefêbvre". The said book is a compilation of sermons pronounced during twenty years. The books is no more that transcribing from tape recordings. The tone is lively. Sometimes the text is interrupted by notes "inaudible". It is a unique docuмent of the life of a man who survived the will of change of the church of Rome cause by the disatrous V2. The "sermons" were public addresses, and so are a part of the public domain. The regime of Bishop Fellay has imposed an interdict against the propagation of the sermons. It appears to be tyranny. Naturally an underground network has been put in place in  order to distribute, and propagate the "sermons", which propagation is done through the forms of PDF files being uploaded and downloaded through the Internet, or through hard copies that were legally purchased to Les Editions Saint Remi for a price of 64 Euros. Something must be said about this book.

Archbishop Marcel Lefêbvre was essentially a missionary priest, who seemed to have been propelled to the episcopacy against is own desire. Once a bishop, and then the Archbishop of Dakar, he more that doubled the number of dioceses on the continent of Africa. The Archbisop was a Maverick. Then in 1968 he became drafted by seminarians to create the Society of Saint Pius X. This is who the man was. His sermons are spoken in a simple and unassuming language. He is easily understood by all, and thus his public addresses have a lot of depth. As a priest, he carried his duties of explaining each particular rites performed by the Church. As a bishop he continued to explain each of the particular rites pertaining to the episcopate. He also had a profound understanding of history, and of the role played by the Church against the pagans, which he lectured in very simple terms, and in a clear and exact way. The man was also conducting a combat against the most formidable heresy that the Church has ever encountered, which is the conciliar heresy, a heresy that is in direct violation of the First Commandment. As the leader of the movement of resistance against this said heresy that has disintegrated the Roman Catholic Church, the audience can perceive some moments of disquiet from the tone of the sermons which occurred during the successive crisis that Archbishop Lefêbvre faced. The Archbishop was often summoned by Rome, met with the highest princes of the Church, such as Cardinal Ratzinger who is our present Pope. He suffered a martyrdom that everyone knew, and the sermons are an exact image of what happened. The entire three volumes must be read from page one to the end in order to appreciate the value of this unique docuмent.

The act of banning the "sermons" by Bishop Fellay, for an obvious will to tone-down relations between a heretical Papacy, and Catholics is the most odious act of tyranny that a man of the Church such as an apostle can do.

I need to say something personal to Bishop Fellay: Your excellency, you are in error to suppress the word of your father. Your father spoke kindly of Our Blessed Mother, the "Very Blessed Virgin Mary", as he used to say. We know that whoever explains the Blessed Virgin Mary is promised eternal life, and I hope your excellency, that you understand that the opposite is true. You know that the devil places sins against all souls, and the strongest advocate is often needed, this strongest advocate being the Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Mother. This most gracious advocate might be absent when your turn comes to face the Judge.

Something else must be said to Bishop Fellay: We know that the Sermons are currently being re-edited, and then translated by hired-pen. We have antennas. Your excellency, if you dare authorize the publication or permit the leak of forgery of the sermons, you will be putting words in the mouth of your father. This is a break of the Commandment of not bearing false witness, it is a sin against the Holy Ghost that cannot be forgiven by Our Lord. This potential error of yours and your entourage may cause you to be hurled into the pit of hell head first, with miter and satin shoes still-on. Dear Bishop, we pray for you that you may regain sight, for you are obviously being blinded!

Conclusion: This third posting of the series "dirty politic" should be seen as a small pebble tossed in a pond. It is hoped that a storm will not develop from its ripples, because a real storm is ahead, and the SSPX needs to remain united.

Saint Jerome, Saint Patron of librarians, pray for us!

    "The mystery of iniquity"

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sin untimately derives from Adam and Eve's temptation by Satan and their mistrust in God and obedience to his commandments.

Their desire for a self-empowering kind of knowledge led him away from innocence into self-consciousness and "knowingness". By mistrusting and disobeying God,Adam and Eve fell out of the perfect state of grace of God and so did the natural world.

Since they lost the perfect state of grace, their minds and bodies became corrupted. They became fascinated and curious about their own bodies and possessive of natural things. They became lustful and resentful and wanted domination.

They passed this lack of grace and the inclination to evil onto their children by way of the flesh. Since we are of their flesh,we inherited their fallen nature and the weaknessesses of their flesh.

    Source:

For the mystery of iniquity already worketh; only that he who now holdeth, do hold, until he be taken out of the way.  And then that wicked one shall be revealed whom the Lord Jesus shall kill with the spirit of his mouth; and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming, him,  Whose coming is according to the working of Satan, in all power, and signs, and lying wonders,  And in all seduction of iniquity to them that perish; because they receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Therefore God shall send them the operation of error, to believe lying: That all may be judged who have not believed the truth, but have consented to iniquity.
    2 Thessalonians 2:7-11
"Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it underfoot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor but a destroyer."  St. Francis of Assisi

  • I furher cannot understand, is "why the other 3 bishops, who also 'knew and loved' ABL, are still remaining silent"?......! I don't believe they were 'duped' OR can it be....???
"It is impious to say, 'I respect every religion.' This is as much as to say: I respect the devil as much as God, vice as much as virtue, falsehood as much as truth, dishonesty as much as honesty, Hell as much as Heaven."
