They call this a "Child Protection Policy" -- how does it protect our kids to defend mortally sinful behaviors such as masturbation, fornication, and sodomy?

This is in a SSPX UK school! Someone sent this to me in an email. And according to this same person it is not even government funded! To quote him: "It's not even government funded mate..... totally independent funding from parents and benefactors"

I don't think I've ever felt so shocked, disgusted, dismayed, betrayed before.. Poor, saintly, Archbishop Lefebvre is totally betrayed and kicked in the ... for good measure...

* Solitary Masturbation
* Having girl/boyfriends who are of the same, opposite or any gender
* Interest in erotica/pornography
* Having sɛҳuąƖ relationships
* Consenting oral and/or penetrative sex with others of the same or opposite gender........

The above is just a small sample of "safe and healthy sɛҳuąƖ development" contained in a new, so-called, Child Protection Policy at an SSPX school. It's found on the SSPX UK website under the title "SMS Child Protection Policy 17.07.2016" and according to the docuмent web address was added to the website on or around 16th July 2017.
The offending section is Appendix IX, which is entitled "Brook sɛҳuąƖ Behaviours Traffic Light Tool".

Brook, is a notorious pro-abortion, pro-contraception, sɛҳuąƖ 'advice' organisation.
This disgusting 'Child Protection Policy' docuмent first made an appearance one-year ago when it was sent to staff and some parents of the school. The previous headmaster, who was recently replaced, erased the offending appendix IX from the file in front of concerned parents when it was bought to his attention. He told parents he knew nothing about the appendix being added to the docuмent and sent out an email apologising for his "lack of oversight."
Now it is back and publicly displayed on the SSPX website along with other official school policy docuмents.

This really ties in with what we already know about the neo-SSPX.

Remember that several SSPX officials have recently expressed a specific interest in making their schools more acceptable to the (corrupt, modern) world at large. Having liberal, politically correct policies such as this "Child Protection Policy" will certainly take them a long way towards that goal!

Does anyone remember the particulars? It was many months ago. I remember being shocked at his expressed priority, once I heard it.

It is presumption, but what if the children are already so corrupt that it seems "practical" to install such a filthy accommodation? Remember Post Falls? And to be honest, I think a number of children churned out by SSPX schools aren't too different from those that go elsewhere... that is my limited, negative opinion. I realize, though, that there are still plenty of good children out there and they need real action to protect them.

The SSPX died a long time ago, it is only apparent in recent years. People need to take matters into their own hands to pressure a reformed direction or get off the Titanic.

It's a docuмent every school in the United Kingdom is required to have. I have done the research and searched the title of the docuмent. Multiple schools in the UK come up, all with the selfsame docuмent, layout and wording. The only thing different, of course, is the school's insignia. They're not defending anything, they're required by UK law to have that docuмent.

Well I understand that Fr. S had removed that page, and that once he left, the page was re-instated.

If he were still there, I bet that docuмent would still be gone. And the school would still be functioning just fine!

But even if it were required by law (and 100% enforced), I'd still have to ask: Is this what we've come to? To operate schools, we must "officially" condone deviant behavior, even if "unofficially" we speak against it?

This smacks of a compromise; the proverbial "grain of incense" offered to a false god. Like the priests of England submitting to the King as the head of the "Church of England" instead of the Pope. It might seem like a small thing, but it's not. It's a sellout.

Isn't this the first step down a slippery slope? What about teachers who are lukewarm to begin with -- they'll look at this docuмent, and think the school is "mainstream liberal" and begin to act accordingly.

At first, it's a legal technicality. But as time goes on, more and more teachers will read it and take it seriously -- having failed to "get the memo" -- and the liberal snowball will continue to roll downhill faster and faster, picking up steam.

I suppose in some countries, which are as wretched as Great Britain, good Catholics are called upon by God to homeschool their children. Apparently even private school is out.

Wait... they HAVE TO? What the Hades about "RELIGIOUS LIBERTY"? I heard England subscribes to that, don't they? They should be able to protest that "necessity".
"You are free to believe that X is immoral, but you still have to accept it because you're not allowed to do anything about it." Does that make sense?
So, one law implies you can reject something while another law says you can't reject what the other law prctically says you can. And if you have to pick one to follow you mandatorily have to go with the one that is prohibitive... Legalities impress me; it's all lies, hypocrisy, and contradiction. Are there any others who see this?
If one was part of a religion that offers human sacrifice, but was arrested for "murder/homicide," is that not an infringement of his/her religious beliefs? That is inconsistent. The laws should be clear, explicit, and non-contradictory. Is that too much to ask? Yes, it probably is.

Fr. Brucciani gives a great sermon (sounds like Vincent Price) and I would not have taken him to be a company man.
Although, maybe to even still be in the SSPX at this point they are all company men.

The school is required to have in place a suitable Child Protection Policy but such a policy does not have to include the Brook 'Traffic Lights' garbage or anything remotely similar.

I often wondered how this school got around the growing non-judgmental child sex education programme being forced on all schools. Its approach could well be to hide it away until government inspectors come acalling. It is not about funding. In fact, the elitist fee-paying schools like to show they are politically correct at the same time as professing some Christian philosophy. It is all a nonsense of course intended to please two masters. So-called Catholic schools have done this for a very long time. The school I attended which was run by Christian Brothers placed more emphasis on getting on in the world and less on the religious life. I long ago considered such places as schools like any other but with a non-confrontational cultural bias. Did not Bishop Fulton Sheen warn against sending vulnerable children to Catholic schools?

I told you all many times before -- SSPX priests, priors, and officials all over the world have CathInfo as their homepage -- or at least on the main Bookmarks Bar (not in the Bookmarks Menu -- that's not accessible enough.) When you catch a child with his hand in the cookie jar, and he puts back the cookie, do you conclude, "What an honest little boy!"
Heck no! He would have raided the jar if only you hadn't been there.

The SSPX taking down this material is the largest admission of guilt I could possibly imagine. All the excuses ("all schools in the UK have to have this -- it's required by law!") fall apart to pieces in the face of what the SSPX just did. They admitted that they COULD have taken it down at any time -- they just didn't want to.

If it weren't for a certain person informing me about this, and CathInfo publishing it to the four corners of Tradition, the material would still be up on the website today.

They want themselves, and their schools, to be increasingly "mainstream" and accepted by the wicked Modern World. They want their name removed from the SLPC website, they want to stop being called αnтι-ѕємιтєs, etc. and for those cowardly goals all I can say is: shame on them!

So if I understand this correctly, this policy is mandated by the government for all schools throughout Great Britain, even private ones. Presumably then if they didn't have such a policy the school would be shut down - that's the choice.

The SSPX taking down this material is the largest admission of guilt I could possibly imagine. Thanks, but I don't think this addresses the specific question.

The link provided by JmJ2cents only talks in general terms about charities. Now although the SSPX in Britain is a charity, the school itself is a registered private school, they have regular inspections from the school authorities. So the question remains, are there any specific legal requirements that a registered school must comply with?

Yesterday in England there was a row over parents removing their son from a "faith" school (C of E) due to another boy being allow to wear a dress (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-41224146 (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-41224146)). The school's defence was that they are required by law to allow this (I don't know if this is true).

Perhaps JmJ2cents' friend can be more specific. Also, I'm not sure that by removing the material on line that means the policy itself has been removed.

So, I guess you would be a good one to answer how easy/hard it would be to manage a website like theirs, and if it is reasonable.

I doubt very much this school would have existed had the Society not been given a large chunk of property in a highly prosperous area in the Home Counties outside London. It is stretched in finding staff to run the place when the UK district is now down to nine priests. Its future is in great doubt and the few million it would realise would be very welcome!

At the end of the day religious schools will comply with the law and so-called Christians can always rely on rendering unto Caesar. There is no point in thinking staff will vigorously oppose progressive policy; their brief is to enable their charges to fit in with society in a comfortable way. And if this school positions itself high up the social scale, the demands of that class will have to be met. The preservation of the Society's interests will come before living the Christian life day after day. Abp. Lefebvre regarded his initiative as an experiment of tradition, perhaps realising that eventually the outside world could not be resisted by successors that were not as committed.

It is possible but I don't know how probable. Usually people only build onto your website what you ask them to. It could be that someone is messing with them, in which case you'd hope they fired that person/company the last time it happened, so the chances of it happening again with a new company would be incredibly small. Maybe this policy is so popular in the UK that it's automatically built into every school website and the SSPX just didn't take the time to read it all. But there again you have to ask why it has happened twice.

I agree with you and don't believe the SSPX wants to embrace these things either. (I can't speak for individual priests, I've been shocked to hear some of their advice in sɛҳuąƖ matters before, so God only knows; but as a whole I do not believe they are there.) But it is possible that this is another attempt to fit in, given their desperate desire to be accepted and seen as mainstream lately. Having this posted in spite of disagreeing with it could have been rationalized in the same vein as many of the other changes. It's external, it's a necessity, it's a lesser evil than being closed, it's posted but isn't what is actually taught etc... I have no idea what they are thinking really. It'd be a lot easier to believe it was an oversight if it weren't reoccurring.

And good point, miserere nobis, removing the material online doesn't necessarily mean the policy itself has been removed.

No wonder they are so hot under the collar to make sure we keep our heads down and don't look at what's happening in other parishes. Problem is, like the VII changes, what is happening in another parish is often what's coming your way in the next 5, 10, 20 years, so we do have to pay a certain amount of attention.

If they're just hiding the policy paper from their internet presence, I'm not at all sure it's "a good thing". If this has been completely eliminated from the school's policy canon, then, yes, it's "a good thing".

Cosy chats with the diocesan bishop may indicate the way things are going. And positioning oneself within the mainstream would certainly come with a requirement that the laws of the land would be adhered to willingly. SSPX priests are not crusaders and will learn from mainstream churchmen on how to do things. If the school remains a viable private fee-paying entity, I can see it in ten years being open to 'all faiths' catering to the particular needs of a privileged few. Catholic schools have for too long given an impression of holiness where very little has existed. There can be a huge gulf between the blackboard and the altar steps. They could be on different planets!

After I was dismissed for no particular reason, I volunteered as a layman (in several departments) at whatever chapel I attended and was extremely active and supportive (especially time but also money) at several SSPX chapels over many years.

I'd like to say this. We don't know WHAT happened. It seems as if always the Resistance has always something to attack the 
sspx on. The post you posted is a mortal sin of detraction. This should have been brought up to the District superior of 
England and that's it. But now that it's gone this far, there is no excuse. It is plain in simple. This is detraction. 
Please stop attacking the sspx. Fellay isn't compromising with Rome... think before you speak.

While Society schools are not wittingly in the forefront of the ongoing sɛҳuąƖ revolution, they nevertheless are faced with progressive secular legislation and their licence to operate will depend on a level of compliance. It would seem any religious school nowadays has become a place where conflicting sets of morals are taught and as a result children become adults highly confused or indifferent. Social engineers know very well that children are great instruments of change and schools therefore are the first places to target. Unless they are vigorously challenged at the expense of being closed down, the religious character of the school becomes nominal and will reflect a culture in decline.

Conservatives should by now know better than to look to Rome for confirmation of traditional values applied to marriage and family. Rome is a reformed and reforming institution which is not unwilling to be part of the sɛҳuąƖ revolution. Bergoglio while posturing as a pope is helping to redefine marital and gender roles and is a great enemy of the Church. They are on a hiding to nothing with their weak half-hearted petitions; they and the organisations they represent will sooner or later comply with the spirit of the age. This is what conservatives do. They fear the disruption a real counter-revolution would cause to the status quo and vote to keep it in place if the pace of change can be slowed.
