Vienna, Virginia, 10th August 2012 Priest Meeting.

    TODAY'S SITUATION

    1.        The Society of St. Pius X declaration of July 14th, 2012, while proclaiming the notion of the Divinity of Christ and His Kingship, actually moves in the opposite direction by using ambiguous language and by preparing to place the SSPX under the authorities of “the Rome of neo-Modernist and neo-Protestant tendencies.”(1974 Declaration)
    2.      There has been a longtime slide in the SSPX towards Vatican II and a growing silence about Novus Ordo scandals against the Faith.
    3.      There is an illusion that one can join the Vatican II Church without accepting Vatican II.
    4.      There is a need to assure souls that the combat for Catholic Tradition, maintained by Archbishop Lefebvre against Modernist Rome, will continue.
    5.      A new attitude favoring compromise has infected the leadership of the SSPX.
    6.      This new attitude now prevails in publications, websites, seminaries and pulpits.
    7.      The priests who resist this new attitude are being punished or threatened with punishment and in all cases are being silenced. The present crisis demands a public response of priests and faithful against this compromise with Modernist Rome.
    8.      Many priests are personally disillusioned with Menzingen for doctrinal reasons but are unsure, cowed or do not know what to do.
    9.      Many independent priests trust the SSPX less and less. They hope to pass on their parishes to doctrinally reliable priests.
    10.  There is a replacement of the original Fatima solution, which is the consecration of Russia by the pope united with the bishops, by a belief that the SSPX can negotiate Modernist Rome back to the Catholic Faith.
    11.  The imprudent and reckless willingness to agree to a “suitable condition” of abandoning the flock to the “wolves” of the diocesan bishops.

    DECLARATION

The heart of the Faith is the Divinity of Christ and his Kingship over all nations: “Oportet illum regnare”. The errors of Vatican II are an indirect attack against his Divinity and a direct attack on his Social Kingship. They will forever remain the Revolution of 1789 within the Church.

Today's Vatican has only changed for the worse since the Council (more damage, more new heresies, more effective semi-modernism), to such an extent that we can repeat the Archbishop's words of 1974 and 1976: “The Church that affirms such errors is at once schismatic and heretical. This Conciliar Church is therefore not Catholic. To whatever extent Pope, bishops, priests or faithful adhere to this new Church, they separate themselves from the Catholic Church.” (June 29, 1976)
The Pope has allowed the True Mass, but only within the Pantheon of modernist liturgies. Further, he has made clear his espousing of the false doctrine of Religious Liberty by preaching it to be the model of how the Church and State are to relate one to another. Lastly the doctrine of Ecuмenism has been widely and consistently professed by the Pontiff in his visits to protestant temples, ѕуηαgσgυєs and mosques and Assisi III confirms that the spirit of Assisi is alive and well. It was this spirit that moved the Archbishop to undertake an “Operation Survival”, that is now itself in great peril.

Today's SSPX clearly wants to place itself under this Conciliar Church, mitigates the poison of Vatican II, is more and more silent in face of the abuses by the conciliar hierarchy, uses ambiguous language referring to two opposite Magisteria. At the same time that it is ever ready to believe in a constant debate with obdurate Roman officials, it uses strong arm tactics toward those standing against wicked reconciliation.
We must wait for Our Lady to convert the Pope and inspire him to consecrate Russia to her Immaculate Heart in union with all the bishops and we must persevere in the Charity of the Truth and the Truth of Charity, organized in a united corps of priests faithful to the position always maintained by Archbishop Lefebvre.

Fr. Joseph Pfeiffer, Fr..Ronald J. Ringrose,  Fr. Richard Voigt, Fr. David Hewko, Fr. François Chazal

  • Only three out of 568 SSPX priests are present in this historic meeting!!

Other two priests are independent pro SSPX.

Maybe these three SSPX priests would become independent by the wrath of Bishop Fellay soon.

Three in United States, One in Europe, One in Asia. Thank you so much God for this extremely rare precious preists!

I myself, catholic faithful feel like standing on the Cliff. I'm very disappointed with SSPX.

  • Pray that more priests have the strength and courage to do what is right before God.  Numbers aren't necessarily what counts, but it sure helps.   Thank you dear priests, true pastors for the salvation of souls.

Yes three, not a high number, but our good God at sometimes finds such small numbers sufficient to His purpose. Others were invited and tickets purchased, but they had other cares of the world. Tickets went unclaimed and they remain safe. A pall of fear and uncertainty rests upon this Society, which leaves only the displaced and courageous in that number. Even curiosity is a forbidden fruit in Switzerland. May God bless these priests and our HolyFaith .

  • From 20 down to 5???   Matthew, I need more emoticons! I have no words. But...

I know what the 500 plus are saying while they're hiding in their priories: "Nothing's signed! This will blow over. You'll see." as they sit around while these 3 SSPX priests will receive the last blow from the "Iron Fists of Menzingen".

I better not hear any of the 500+ priests preach on Good Friday how cowardly the disciples were, blah, blah, blah, coz uh Father: where were you on August 10 during the meeting in Vienna, Va?

Folks: from now on, during Sunday sermons, just switch on your recorders so you get the sermon on record. The hypocrisy stinks from here to eternity!

  • This is an excellent description of today's situation and declaration. These are golden words from true sons of Archbishop Lefebvre.

Blessings from God to these brave priests and to all their helpers. This includes you, dear J.Paul, also for posting it here on the traditional Internet bastion Cathinfo for the English speaking world.

I'll happily forward this declaration to friends and priests of the resistance.

So the important meetings took place in Vienna. Ah, not in our original Vienna with its St. Stephen's Cathedral unfortunately... :-)

These are early days yet. Not all faithful priests may be willing to work under Fr Pfeiffer, if at all he has assumed leadership. The Declaration will sit well with many priests I reckon but they may be waiting for Bishop Fellay's next move before taking a decision.

  • J Paul  Thanks for the posting. I know both Fr Joe Peiffer and Fr Francois Chazal personally. Great priests and friends they are. In Singapore we have about 250 SSPX faithfuls but sad to say that only 3 are standing for Fr. Pfeiffer and Fr. Chazal. The rest are 'fellyites'.

As for the 5 priests who are presently defending the Faith we must recall a similar situation 2000 years ago on Mount Cavalry, whilst our dear Lord was on the Cross, where only three stood below with Him.

May God Bless you and all who fight for the True Faith. :incense:

    FAITH OF OUR FATHERS
    HOLY FAITH
WE SHALL BE TRUE TO THEE TILL DEATH!

And this one grace we must pray for and persevere.
"It is impious to say, 'I respect every religion.' This is as much as to say: I respect the devil as much as God, vice as much as virtue, falsehood as much as truth, dishonesty as much as honesty, Hell as much as Heaven."

  • God Bless these Holy and Courageous Priests!

Regarding Fatima and the "Pope and Bishops" however, I think we need to hang our hat on the Catholic Faith alone, not on a private revelation (dogmatized by some).  Whether the Seat is occupied or not, we need to pray for the restoration of the Papacy and the Hierarchy of the Church.

Don't get me wrong, I like private revelations (Fatima included).  I am convinced however, that  La Salette is the principal revelation for our times.   I'm also convinced that the "Third Secret" of Fatima is essentially the message of La Salette.  Why would Our Lady contradict herself?

Some things to consider regarding the (largely if not entirely) fulfilled message of Fatima... nations were anihilated and Portugal lost the Faith. Prior to Pius XII's consecration of Russia, the "Rulers of Russia" were spreading their errors.

Mr. Putin's Russia is definitely at enmity with the former "Rulers".  This enmity began with the death of Stalin.  Remember Communist Russia (and the butcher Stalin) was our great ally and in short order (after Pius XII's consecration) became our (USA's, Mainstream Media's, Hollywood's, United Nation's) worst enemy.  There can be no doubt that some sort of drastic change / conversion occured in Russia.  When Our Lady spoke of the "Errors" of Russia, She obviously wasn't speaking of Orthodoxy.  It is most likely that the "conversion" She referred to was not from the valid sacraments of Orthodoxy to the Nefarious Ordo.

I've heard some rabid anti-sede folks point to Fatima as "dogmatic" proof that the Seat must be occupied (regardless of Roman heresy / apostasy), as Our Lady said we must pray for the Pope to consecrate Russia.  They would say If there is no Pope then the Novus Ordo Sr. Lucy (read imposter) was wrong, and according to them, to question the "Sr. Lucy" and her opinion as to whether Russia was consecrated "sufficiently" by Pius XII would be "heresy".

    Obviously not looking for votes,
    -Ferdinand
