CORRECTION: Dominicans of Avrillé Need Our Help

Mea culpa, mea culpa . . . I apologize for making a hasty post that was not entirely accurate. The situation with the Dominicans of Avrillé, while serious, is not as dire as I stated in my original post. I have been asked to provide a corrected description of the current situation which appears below. Please note that the original post was entirely of my own misplaced zeal to help my beloved Dominicans. They do need our help and are certainly worthy of all our support.

Please forgive my impetuousness.

Sitting by and watching everything for which we have fought for so long seeming to fall down in front of us can invoke a feeling of helpless frustration. If you really long to do something material to help in the fight for Traditional Catholicism, I have a timely suggestion for you.

The Traditional Dominican fathers of Avrillé, France are in need of financial support. These strong stalwarts of Traditional Catholicism need our help.

To quote one of the fathers:

The Dominicans are looking for benefactors, but it is in order to pay for current building repairs and to pay back a loan contracted a few years ago for the acquisition of the “Priory of the Haye aux-Bonshommes” (an adjacent building to the convent property). There is no connection with any cancelled retreat.”

Sorry, there can be no more donations to the neoSSPX chapels.

I want to support any groups that are friends of: +ABL, which includes
the SSPX resistance Bishops, the SSPX resistance priests and
friends of the SSPX resistance.

How about the Capuchins ? Does anyone know their address?

Does anyone know which Carmelite orders are against the
prelature (sell-out)? I have requested prayers from Carmel of the Holy Trinity (Spokane) for years.
Does anyone know if they are in support of Msgr. Fellay?

Menzingen has paid for a lot of these properties so they can own them upfront. They loan the money at very "low interest"(although is owned by them) and the parishes have to make regular payments. I know of a couple of recent purchases one for a chapel and one for an extra building within the last 2 years and since the coming up "deal" they have been asked to increase the payment amount under a lot of pressure.

I wonder if the Dominicans are in that pickle. My donation will go out today. I was waiting to confirm the best address to send it. I suggest we all try to give them a hand. I smell Menzingen in this need.

Interesting... most likely private finances. We''ll never be privy to the details
unless it goes to court.
