Hi, I think it might be a good thing for the different Mass centers to know the contact info for each other and communicate about things we are doing in the parish and ideas. St. Mary's of course already has a website up. I am a parishioner in Post Falls and there are a few others of us that read and/or post on CathInfo. What do the rest of you think?

I think that's a great idea. We're supposed to be a loosely connected, independent network.

That doesn't mean completely out-of-touch or incommunicado.

We should keep in touch with each other, etc.

  • Yes !!  Yes  !!

As I spoke at the Fireside Chat at Boston, we are social beings in a small world and not much in common with our neighbors, despised by our catholic relatives who are CINO and sometimes it gets lonesome out here. Pablo was not there, so he couldn't call me a woman, but I thought I heard HE +W make a "noise" concerning my "feminine side". The ladies there thought it a good idea.

"My  idea there was enacted and so we left with  names, phone numbers etc of all that were there.

But this info is NOT public, and is only to be printed on rice paper in 2 pt. type and marked
    TOP SECRET, EYES ONLY,
and only available to dues paying members of the brother/sisterhood that were there. (smiley face) You know the story, If I tell you I gotta shoot you. (more smiley face)

So much for some jockularity as my favorite pre V2 MASH Priest would say.

Fr. Voigt could confirm who a list goes to, and keep it separate from his other contacts, ( I think I just volunteered him). Will confirm with him tomorrow.

Also, good idea to have 2 people at each site with phone nbrs for Priest contact and each with list of faithful and nbrs to call as usually short notice for Mass.  I was in Boston, not expecting a Priest for couple of weeks, and my other self had to make all the calls so advance preparation is beneficial.

After reading this, I better go back to just lurking.  K2OPT
