Corpus Christi in Riddes: a great moment of charity between priests
Father Salenave tells us about his stay in Valais on the occasion of Corpus Christi in Riddes and 25 years of priesthood of Father Stéphane Grenon.

Allow me to report a beautiful event that happened recently in Fidelity. Important not in the eyes of the world who prefers what shines and makes number but in the eyes of Our Lord who is certainly looking forward to find on earth a remnant of his charity in the hearts of his priests.
Indeed, on this Thursday of the Feast of the Blessed Sacrament, we celebrated with more than 200 faithful Valaisans the 25 years of priesthood of our dear abbot Grenon. It was the occasion for some priests of Fidelity to meet to show their priestly support.

Domaine Sainte-Rita
It was also an opportunity for me to stop at the Sainte-Rita estate where Father Morgan resided for over a year after leaving the neo-FSSPX. By the photo, you can judge, for yourself, the deprivation of places and courage of the abbot to escape a situation that he could not accept in conscience. Three caravans without running water and without electricity were his home and also his place of healing.

After a brief night in the caravans, we left very early to arrive at Riddes for the Solemnity of the Most Blessed Sacrament.

We had the joy of hearing the Cure de Riddes preaching with force on Fidelity to the priestly ideal that Archbishop Lefebvre transmitted to us.

What a joy for us, priests, to hear this old man encourage us in the path of total fidelity, not to let go while patiently waiting for the hour when Rome will convert and consecrate Russia to the Heart of Mary.

Then followed the beautiful procession of the Most Sacrament where Our Lord was honored by a beautiful crowd singing and pious at the same time.

After the festivities, the priests present were all together around the priest for dinner and talk more intimate.

Memories of seminary, funny stories of the ministry, apostolate, difficulties in the crisis, sorrow of the ones and the others, doctrine, ... everything was shared with great simplicity under the benevolent and patriarchal eye of the priest who took the opportunity to ask us to stay well united .... and to meet regularly. Something we are all committed to.

We do not doubt that the charity that reigned among all the priests on this occasion will reassure the faithful who desire nothing so much as to find true peace in the truth of Our Lord. And it does not begin with charity among priests first. Divine charity which unfortunately was lost in the neo FSSPX for lack of Fidelity to the founder and by clerical pride.

May God be blessed for this beautiful day of Fidelity in Valais.

Cor unum in anima una!
