  • As you may know, Father Bolduc died on Monday. He was beloved by all of the faithful at Saint Michael's. We now are in a time of uncertainty. Father Bolduc was a stalwart defender of the Traditional Mass, and left the SSPX many years ago. He purchased several properties (including the beloved Saint Mary's) for the SSPX, and between 50-60 churches around the USA that continue to operate to this day.

Now that he is gone, we are without a priest, and there is discussion about what our options are. One that is being considered is for SSPX priests to come and give us the sacraments. Sure, that's nice, and stuff, but you might understand as an outsider of the SSPX, how some could be -very- skeptical about what exactly will happen if such a decision is made.

It would be nice if we could find another exact replica of Father Bolduc, but realistically, that's not going to happen. We also know that people will descend on Saint Michael's like "vultures" because of how wonderful it really is.

I have a story that relates to one of my concerns.

Several years ago, there was a group of "NUTS" (sorry but that's the most charitable way to describe them) that left for the 'indult' here, and these people were TROUBLEMAKERS! They were always gossiping about people (including Father Bolduc) and said really crazy things like "WTH! DURING BENEDICTION, I JUST SAW THE HOST IN THE MONSTRANCE IS BLACK! THIS MUST MEAN THAT FATHER BOLDUC IS THE DEVIL!!"

    :smoke-pot:

Seriously, it's weird. And this one family left on account of this tripe! Amazingly, the dad of the family was the only one who saw this seeming "enigma."

    ...

Anyway, a few of them have said, "Oh if only Saint Michaels would join the SSPX, we'd come back." Well... WE DO NOT WANT THEM BACK! Saint Michaels is PEACEFUL now. We don't want the troublemakers back if they're going to continue gossiping and troublemaking.

Now, don't get me wrong. I realize that people change and stuff, but Saint Michael's is no different today than it was last Sunday when Father Bolduc had his last mass here. Things are peaceful, we're all working together, and the LAST thing we need is a bunch of gossiping nutcases coming back over here and causing a disturbance.

Now, I feel the VAST MAJORITY of the people at Saint Michael's would like to have a LEVEL HEADED INDEPENDENT PRIEST that can provide us with good council, and the sacraments. In return, they will have a permanant place to stay, and get all the temporal things that they need.

I really hope and pray that we receive these things, Please keep Saint Michael's in your prayers.
    Matthew 5:37

But let your speech be yea, yea: no, no: and that which is over and above these, is of evil.

My Avatar is Fr. Hector Bolduc. He was a faithful parish priest in De Pere, WI,

  • The SSPX will not come to the parish unless there are strings attached. The Superior will insist on that. And with this climate of flux in the Society, a trad parish without a priest is wide open for Fr. Rostand to do the dirty work he was trained to do. The Society has always lusted after property and gold; this is now its raison d'etre. Better no priest than such an outcome! Be warned; this would happen!

  • Father also warned the men about exactly what you just said. "Better to just come to Church without a priest and pray the missal with your families," than join the SSPX with 'strings attached.' This is something I was worried about, but when I found out that the property cannot be transferred to a single individual, I thought, "Well they're going to prove if they're really here to save souls, or if they're only here for financial gain. If they stay with no strings attached (except for travel expenses and accommodations while they're here,) then we know that they're here for THE PROPER REASON. If not, then it's absolutely blatant that they're in it for financial gain." Thank you Wessex.

There are always weirdos/nuts in almost every chapel/church. I've seen them all.

  • www.traditio.com has alot of priests looking for priests for independent chapels.  You really need to be careful and do research and criminal searches too.

Some are kicked out of novus ordo for pedophilia and seek independent  chapels to continue their evil sins...
May God bless you and keep you

I beg to differ. This is too much of a broad generalization. Probably it is true in the United States and Europe where the SSPX is legally established to own properties, but in Asia, most of the chapels are not owned by the SSPX, and the priest will still come provided the traveling, accommodation, meals are taken care of.

  • How about contacting Fr. Pfeiffer's SSPX/SO?

  • This is what vatican Ii did to properties.  They "retire"and remove pastor from parish and replace him with the "yes" man who is chosen "convener" to close down the parish.  even vatican II canon law states only the pastor can close down a parish.  Then he will bribe the lay council or lay hierarcy of parish.  The parishes are closed once the merger takes place into new parish.  Money and properties are combined into new parsih. This is the reason for new parish name.  It is like embezzling.

You have different sspx travelling to different chapels.  Well vatican II had the "speak up sessions".

yany Vatican II church dioceses and parishes are broke from sɛҳuąƖ abuse lawsuits, fraud, embezzloing, real estate scandals and mismanagement.

    www.bishopaccountability.org      www.traditio.com/

They decided close down parishes long time ago to further cover up sɛҳuąƖ abuse. hen t hey had mocked deanery meetings and put people who took the silver to help with the sell out.  Been there done that...

May God bless you and keep you
