It's fair to say 'Cassini' in Ireland supports Bishop Fellay and his gang. The edifying conference given by Bishop Williamson has obviously upset the few Fellayites in Ireland. Are the "enemies" of the Church of Bishop Fellay now such public sinners to be denied Christian burial? How silly they have become. So it is a mortal sin to disobey the Church of Bishop Fellay?

I have kept well clear of the confrontation between bishops and priests of the SSPX. I did so because I am not informed, not privy to the details or personalities involved. I am not competant to judge what is true or what is false, what is right or what is wrong between the two sides.
But now I have been told something that I really cannot believe, yet it seem is true and that traditional Catholics are actually abiding by this 'advice.'
A Fr Pffifer, if I spell his name properly, is supposed to have advised distressed traditionalists, lured out of SSPX churches they have been attending for 20 years, NOT to attend Masses in the churches that gave them refuge since the NO was introduced.
I can now confirm as a fact, that some of these distressed have taken his 'advice' and have gone missing from Sunday Mass, let alone the many daily Masses they used to attend.
If this is true, and I am open to correction, I am of the opinion the consequence of such 'advice' is a mortal sin, encouraging Catholics to abandon a commandment of the Church. Had any of these distressed experienced one word of modernism uttered in any of their previous Masses one could understand. But the answer is a NO, NOT A WORD.
God forbid these same distressed traditionalists fall ill or die under such advice. Are they to forgoe the last sacraments from the SSPX priests under whose care they placed their souls for 20 years now. Where will they be buried, and in what church are they to be buried from?
Tell me what cause can be justified by such 'advice?' I am shocked to see where this reformation has led. The Devil himself must be rubbing his hands.

On the point of being buried and God willing, we are all spared a few more years, this is dealt with in the impromptu conference given by Bishop Williamson in Singapore and posted on Cath Info.

To give Cassini credit the above is fair comment as the Irish have tended to avoided the internal politics of the SSPX. By no means a turning a blind eye but didn't trouble themselves too much in 'El Krahgate', a Bishop getting booted out, the new direction etc etc. A few here and there have said Max who but by and large it has been business as usual. Nothing to see here.
Now, folk have been forced to act and are either for an agreement or remain faithful to Archbishop Lefebvre.
I accept it is sad for Bishop Fellay and his gang to have sold Archbishop Lefebvre down the river but it is reality. They are traitors and I actually agree with Bishop Williamson in calling the rats in Menzingen, the rats that they are. Liberals.

A point to remember though is it is not about personality but about doctrine.

It's good to get his perspective. My intent is not to mock him but I can't agree with these Bishop Fellay supporters. I find them misguided.

A person can have the craic from time to time. We shouldn't take ourselves seriously. Satire in Irish literature is an interesting read.

Who is 'Cassini'?

I just found out who this 'Cassini' is. It is a person with a username on I.A.
This person wishes to make a "judgement on Fr. Pfeiffer, who is a trained Catholic Priest; 'Cassini' is NOT.
'Cassini' wrote: "I have kept well clear of the confrontation between bishops and priests of the SSPX. I did so because I am not informed, not privy to the details or personalities involved. Enough said!
