Some people get offended when certain "shady characters" are criticized or even suspected of practicing the occult. Yes, I'll admit we don't have any video proof yet. So does charity dictate that he should be given a 100% clean bill of spiritual health, and given the benefit of the doubt that he's a good Catholic just like you and me?
WRONG.
Let us consider --
Actual Traditional Catholics have scoffed at "Baptist preachers" for criticizing the rock group KISS. One Baptist preacher claimed that the group's name stood for "Knights In Satan's Service". Now we all have our opinions, and some Catholics who are fond of the group (for some strange reason) might be quick to use the excuse, "He's a Baptist preacher. He's full of it!"
But what is the truth of the matter? Whether or not K.I.S.S. actually stands for that phrase, and whether or not the members of KISS actually worship the devil, all the signs are there: Look at their costumes, listen to their music, pay attention to the lyrics. That's all we need to know to avoid them as satanic. Whether or not they physically worship satan, they prosecute (move forward) satan's agenda. They worship him in spirit. They seem to love satan with their mind, heart, and body. They help satan with their filthy lyrics, ugly music, their lifestyle and scandalous example, etc. You don't even need to read the lyrics; a mere perusal of the titles of their songs is sufficient to cause a decent person to be disgusted.
Godly people would not look like them, sound like them, or talk like them. To an honest Catholic, it's "case closed". I don't need to catch a KISS member sacrificing a goat to avoid that group as satanic.
Or think of it this way: is it not true that countless martyrs "worshiped God" -- that is, in spirit -- as they sat in prison awaiting torture and execution? They couldn't attend Mass, due to being in prison. And the Romans certainly didn't allow Catholic priests to visit them. But they are saints who clearly "worshiped God" in spirit and truth.
So, long story short, showing up at a Mass isn't the only way to truly worship God, and showing up at a satanic "black mass" or child sacrifice ritual isn't the only way to worship the devil.
Now apply this to certain infamous characters that are obsessed with dressing in black, and always hiding his eyes (the windows of the soul) behind ominous, dark sunglasses. But it's not just his dress -- the biggest issue is his speech and behavior!
No, we don't need video footage showing this man sacrificing a chicken in his backyard to know that something is seriously wrong on a spiritual level.
There's a famous old adage: "If it looks like a duck, and walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck -- then it probably is a duck!"
