It might be old news, but it was quite traumatizing to hear the details and learn the identity of the first (?) victim. I'd known that there had been sɛҳuąƖ impropriety, but had no idea of what a bad predator VDP dad been, considering his pre-meditation and his multiple victims. I'd known LouAnn and her brother when they lived in Post Falls. And I'd known Fr. VDP from the time he was ordained, and had been on retreat when he was retreat master. I saw a lot I didn't like about him from the start. And he became increasingly erratic before he was pulled from Los Gatos.
With the NWO's jackboot on The Church's face at this time in history, I hate to see Church Militant going after the SSPX like this. But on the other hand, I can see that the cover-ups and minimizing of the scandals paved the way for even more scandals. I'm not sure of the timeline, but if that pilgrimage to Europe took place after LouAnn informed Frs. T Pfeiffer and T Scott, that's inexcusable!
Brian,

Thanks for your rebuttal.

I’d like to distinguish or qualify the SSPX sex scandals based on the players, victims and level of cover-up involved.

1. Fr. VDP perversion & apostasy:

He showed signs of demonic possession. Those close him had noted his visible deterioration while he was based in N. CA.  He seemed to be a wild card, solo pervert.

And after 21 years of his demise, it’s hard to say who failed to act or covered-up for him?

2. SSPX Post Falls sex scandal:

Now, this was an organizational failure and cover-up from top to bottom.

Three unscreened perverts were allowed to run freely among this trad Catholic school, which had (7) priests managing it.

This scandal was covered-up all the way to the SSPX District Superior’s office.

The primary news leak to the scandal was Cathinfo.

Opus Dei's "Church Militant" must be pretty hard up for an SSPX scandal.

That story is so old, it has mold on it.

Father Van Der Putten was disciplined many times.  He went off the rails and was defrocked by B16 at Bp. Fellay's request.

Yes, he was eventually disciplined and defrocked, but this lady's allegations are troubling, that Fr. Fullerton covered the whole thing up and then later allowed him to lead a retreat for girls.

Watched the first part about Vander Putten completely. I lived in the world seducing bikini clad young girls (18-25 years old)  on the beach till I came back to the Church at 40+. I married and now have many daughters. I know the world out there very well.

My first take is that what happened is "par for the course", very normal. Parents that think that a 19 year old girl has any business living by herself in another state, under the charge of  28 year old men, who have access to their bedrooms and shower facilities..... Any parent that thinks that's normal, is an idiot. A 19 year old girl should be living at home with her parents and not even be allowed to spend even one night at any house where there is a man, whether a 16 year old, or a father of 60.

What happened to this girl is nothing compared to what could have happened had this Vander Putten known how to seduce such an easy target. Pardon my bluntness.

(P.S. - the media interviewer is typical of Novus Ordo "Catholics", she is an obscene person with no class, two times the Vander Putten flashed the girl, the interviewer spells out the view in every detail. There was no need for that at all. She does it a few times more with other descriptions. No class!)

Just wanted to warn you, LT. The way you talk about how you used to seduce beautiful young women, and about other things you like to talk about, it seems to me from reading your posts for the past few years that you suffer greatly from pride. I may be wrong and am not a spiritual director, but that is the impression I get from reading your posts. You are always saying how you are better than everyone else, a better sinner when you were a sinner, and now after your conversion a better saint, and all that.

God bless you for how far you have come!
At the same time...
Yes, you must have been a sexy beast to attract all of those bikini clad under 25 yos.
And yes, we get it.
You wouldn't budge over 25.
No the body of a 26 yo wouldn't do for you.

Okay..everyone has a past and you have knowledge into the mind of the deviants that may be helpful to the naive.
And that is helpful to us all!
And God will forgive anyone who asks...
Just try to remember that the wife whose body can compare to the best of them is not what a good man strives for.
