Take a close look and see how Brian McCall misleads the question to the desired response. Who are these critics? Who claims that the new SG would not be from the ranks of SSPX? A question with mixed up facts will naturally get a response as we see below.

CFN: Some critics of the Society from the so-called and self-proclaimed “Resistance” have claimed that Bishop Fellay has conceded to the Roman authorities that, if a canonical recognition would occur, the SSPX statutes would change so that Rome would appoint the Superior General and the Assistants and that they would not be SSPX priests. Is this claim true?

Father Pfluger: On the contrary! In the so-called Prelature, which on several occasions has been proposed by Rome, the Prelate and further bishops will be taken from the Society! No, this claim is a bold lie, the kind you often find being circulated by people who are outside the Society but who are quick to judge what is going on inside the Society. Such claims, rather than being serious arguments, are groundless. You see, that's nothing but a con-trick. These people are speaking contrary to justice and truth and oppose any form of canonical regularization for our Society, because they have lost the spirit of the Archbishop. The spirit of our Founder is “the spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Church, of the Gospel”. In fact, their worries and visceral opposition to any contact with Rome or a canonical regularization is based on fear and is a lack of supernatural hope.

Yes, just another SSPX amateur public relations interview.

Consider that the Society has controlled CFN's editorial views since 2012.

Question: But why are Fr. Pfluger's accusations becoming more harsh?

"Bold lies... quick to judge, groundless claims... con tricks, speaking contrary to justice and truth... lost the spirit of our Founder"

Answer: He is likely "projecting" the Society's sins upon his Resistance enemies.

I agree totally! We would not be in the situation we are in, if it was not for the vastly liberal-composed group of Majors Superiors of SSPX which have been been in 2012, and still are in 2018, part of the General Chapter.

Going back to Mr. McCall's question to Fr. Pflugger: He doesn't name anybody, or quote anybody, from the Resistance, who have supposedly said these things. This is a typical Mainstream media tactic: Accuse your adversary of saying something wrong, without giving any proof of them saying it, and then react strongly to discredit your opponent as being outrageous, biaised, and so forth. Typical communist deception method.
