I have been looking for years for the ORIGINAL from the BBC TV showing, was on VHS, back then, still not found, it was cut short to fit in the "time slot" so a few minutes in the beginning where the "presbyter"  Sheen (at this time he was a nobody (still is, speaking ill of him)) gets his orders in rome and then a few minutes from the end with Trevor Howard (a real actor) doing real acting.  All the different DVD's I have seen past 15 yrs are this one, (cut short for TV time slot) Seen on BBC.
Look for old VHS as it was available back then.  Never a "popular" movie, ie very low demand.
