So, there's more here than just the purported NO Eucharistic miracles that had Bishop Williamson not sending holy oils, and it was alluded to in one of the letters sent by +Williamson to Fr. Hewko, namely, the public attacks against +Williamson.
Nevertheless, I do consider it petty, both from +Williamson and +Zendejas to withold holy oils for differences of opinion. About that I must wholeheartedly agree with Fr. Hewko. Of course, Fr. Hewko holds an equally dogmatic rejection of sedevacantism, which also is merely an opinon ... so he contradicts himself there.
Were I a bishop, I would give the holy oils to pretty much any valid Catholic priest who requested them, since I would not punish the faithul or possibly have someone dying without Extreme Unction even for the "sins" of the priest (i.e. even if I had a very serious disagreement with them).
Very sad, how this ended. I love how the Resistance are always smearing sedevacantists for splintering and having so many different divisions, but the Resistance fragmented in record time compared to the SVs.
I think the faithful need to stand up and call out these immature clergy. We're to call them "Father" out of respect, but it's increasingly difficult to do so when we see them squabbling like children. Whether it's SSPV using the Sacraments as weapons, or now the Resistance, or the SSPX doing the same ... there's something to be said about young men putting on cassocks and never having had to go through "real life" and thereby cut their teeth on reality and mature somewhat. Perhaps they need to have held down real jobs for some years to have grown up. I find the entire incident where Fr. Pfeiffer showed up at Broadstairs and they engaged in this absurd taunting through the door.
