Catholic SCandle

Moderator edit:
If you are looking to become a home aloner, condemning virtually all Traditional Catholics and Trad clergy in the world, visit the Catholic Scandal Candle.

Oh, and they promote the Rosary and a few other Catholic devotions. As if you can't get that literally hundreds of other places...

The bottom line:
If you will put up with the sectarianism and schismatic mentality (as well as dogmatic Home Aloneism) of sites like Catholic Scandle, you might as well frequent the Dimond Brothers website as well. Their clock is right twice a day too!

And you should be promoting CathInfo ALL OVER THE PLACE because our signal-to-noise ratio is better than either of those sites!S

Catholic Candle

The Apostolic Fathers Rebuke the Conduct of Bishop Williamson’s Followers
Bishop Williamson continually increases his “collection” of heresies he promotes, as shown regularly in Catholic Candle

Sounds like a MHFM-lite website....everyone is a heretic but them.
.
Just what we need nowadays, more division.
Notice that Our Lady didn’t tell St Dominic to go around anathematizing the Albigensian heretics of his day.  She told him to preach the rosary!  She wanted people to pray and then She and the Holy Ghost could enlighten them to truth (assuming they had good Will).   And that’s how the heresy ended.  Prayer.
.
So if people want to create a website, they should do something to promote saying the rosary, or the Consecration to the Immaculate Heart, or the First Friday/First Saturday devotions.  This is the type of Catholic Action we need today.  Not more division and name calling.

I do not agree with some things on the website just as I certainly do not agree with some things on CathInfo.  That said, if you would review the material that the site has put out, you would find that each of the things you mention here as things which should be promoted (i.e., the rosary, the Consecration to the Immaculate Heart, and the First Friday/First Saturday devotions) are indeed specifically promoted and elaborated on by the site and more than once at that.

Each page has the heading on heresy.
There is no Who are we? page.
Seems a very negative approach to Faith.
I am not attracted to look deeper into the site.
