I acknowledge I had never heard of this Br. Nathaniel before.
Looking at the posts on this thread, I think it would be more useful, instead of bickering, to provide the history of this guy, as well as the receipts.
In 2015, many priests and faithful of good will were deceived by so-called "Bishop" Ambrose Moran, who was claiming he had been secretly consecrated Uniate Bishop by cardinal Slipyij.
It turned out the pictures he provided were crude montages.
It also turned out he was a janitor in a school, and had been "consecrated" 2 or 3 times by various "Orthodox" bishops of obscure Orthodox sects not recognized by any official Orthodox churches.
Hence, the need for prudence.
Around the year 2000, the nuns who had continued the work of Fr. Nelson in Powers Lake, were in desperate need of a priest. They finally welcomed with open arms Dom Peter Randall Scott (OSB), who was a Benedictine priest who was kicked out of his monastery when he discovered and joined Tradition. In 2002, it was discovered this man was a convicted felon, and was using 3 aliases. He had never been a Benedictine monk, except in his habit and pretense. When confronted by the nuns, he said: "I have been ordained 3 times! Surely, one of them was valid?"
Therefore, before I could rejoice for Br. Nathaniel's conversion, I should like to know exactly where he comes from.
