  • From SaveSSPX.com:

It was reported today in Avrille, France that Bishop has notified both the Dominicans and Capuchins that he will not ordain their candidates to the diaconate and priesthood on the 29th, as previously scheduled. This announcement is viewed as retaliation against these two communities for their opposition to the sellout with Rome

How vindictive, how evil to fight against these holy, traditional orders of religious!

Just because they oppose a betrayal of the SSPX to neo-modernist Rome.

Well, on the plus side, at least the battle lines have been clearly drawn.

Has anyone here met one of the Dominican priests from Avrille? They are completely traditional Dominicans, wonderfully holy and wonderfully Catholic.

I had the grace to hear one of them speak at a Priests' conference.

  • Matthew, would it be possible to merge this thread with the following one, because it's the same topic?

Yes, I met Fr. Raymond O.P. who's been serving also in the German-speaking SSPX zone and he indeed made a "wonderfully holy and wonderfully Catholic" impression on us!

He wrote a great pamphlet in the German language about how traditional Catholics should dress correctly, including women wearing skirts and veils. But it goes far beyond the classical information, because he argues very sensibly and deep in a theological but still easy to understand way.
Now you Anglo-Saxons could be surprised why such a pamphlet is important at all, since all (or most) of you Anglo-Saxon women probably wear a veil during Holy Mass. Not so however in the very liberal German-speaking "traditional" catholic area. :-(

And here Fr. Raymond O.P. did a groundbreaking work a few years ago, and his pamphlet even found thankful readers amongst senior Cardinals in the New-Church...

  • It was reported today in Econe, Switzerland that the Bishop Fellay of the New-SSPX has notified Bishop Fellay of the old style SSPX that he will not ordain their candidates to the diaconate and priesthood on the 29th, as previously scheduled. This announcement is viewed as retaliation against "other" himself for his opposition to the sellout with Rome. (Schizophrenia)

  • I suppose if one of the other bishops stepped in they'd likely be suspended.

News such as this makes the rumor that +Tissier is going under house arrest all the more plausible.

  • Someone should buy a plane ticket (etc) for Bishop Williamson so he can step in and do what needs to be done.

SOMEONE has to take care of traditional priests and the traditional movement in general...

The Night of the Long Knives.

This reaction fits with +F's systematic efforts to recruit all TLM independent
priests under the big SSPX tent.

Around 3-years ago, +F ordered his SSPX priests to make friends with their local independent TLM priests.  This action has been verified by both SSPX priests and some independent priests.

The purpose of this campaign is becoming very clear.
Once the SSPX is given the "tradition prelature" they will assume supervision of
    all remaining independent TLM priests.

As with the 3 SSPX bishops, any TLM priest who is unwilling to incardinate themselves to the newSSPX will be deemed an excommunicated schismatic.

So, Bp. Fellay's newSSPX will merge with newRome and together, they will purge what's left of Holy Roman Catholic tradition.
Its going to be quite a circus.

  • The lack of SSPX vocations in Germany tends to show SSPX traditionalism has been vitiated in Germany.

  • Interesting tidbit from the SSPX.org site below. Notice below that in the intro, it states there are supposed to be 24 total priests ordained (18 of which SSPX). However, only 21 are listed (18 of which SSPX). So, what happened to the other 3 priests? And, why are no Capuchins mentioned? There were 3 that were supposed to be ordained. They are obviously not mentioned and that would account for the difference in 3 priests"

    ---

"DICI reports that the SSPX will obtain 18 new priests and 19 new deacons in June 2012 will have been ordained between June-July 2012. Including the ordinations for those in religious congregations, the grand total comes to 24 new priests and 25 new deacons.

    Priests:

Winona, Minnesota, June 15 (Bishop Bernard Tissier de Mallerais): Nicholas Gardner, Scott Graves, Leo Haynos, John McFarland, Christopher Polley, Steven Reuter (all from USA)

Also 2 for the Monastery of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Silver City, New Mexico:

    Brother Elias Campbell, OSB

    Brother Andrew Menage, OSB
Econe, Switzerland, June 29 (Bishop Bernard Fellay): Denis Coulomb, Charles de Belleville, Etienne de Blois, Vincent Gelineau, Benoit Laignelot, Jean-Marie Lebourg, Jean-Marie Mavel, Eric Peron, Vianney Vandendaele, Pierre-Marie Wagner (all from France)

Also for the Fraternity of the Transfiguration, Merigny, France: Brother Clement Marie Gervais

Zaitzkofen, Germany, July 1 (Bishop Alfonso de Galarreta): Franz Amberger (Germany), Ludek Cekavy (Czech Republic)"

And lots more French priests for the new order!

Yes, and it doesn't surprise too much when we look at the recent German district superiors: Fr. Schmidberger and before him the Swiss-German Fr. Niklaus Pfluger
    • . (And before him Fr. Heggenberger, ahem.)

Both Fr. Schmidberger and Fr. Pfluger are liberals, or worse. And the liberal German who's the Austrian district superior is just a lackey of those two men, unfortunately.

The German district superiors Fathers Schmidberger and Pfluger sold the German-speaking clergy and laypeople to the "heretical and schismatic New-Church" (to quote the Archbishop) and to the world, so also to the Jews with the help of Mossad-"IM" Krah [**].
Also these men managed to stir up the German SSPX clergy and laypeople totally against the faithful Bishop Williamson, and so they hinder the good Bishop's anti-liberal teaching of the Faith in our area...

Both fathers were rectors of the German SSPX seminary Zaitzkofen for years and liberalised the seminarians and the faculty.
Fr. Pfluger didn't even know the Church's teaching on Religious Liberty when he was rector. Imagine, a traditional catholic seminary's rector who doesn't know the traditional teaching on Religious Liberty! Maybe that's why Fr. Pfluger wants to join the New-Church, because he can't distinguish the New-Church from the true Church?

Of course there's not only a few leaders to blame, but we Germans as people got infected with the liberal virus a long time ago (Luther), when as Europe's central power we should have continued to protect the Church. So we've had to expiate this disloyalty to the Church in the past, and still have to.
Most catholic European prophecies about the upcoming Chastisements see Germany as the main battle ground in Europe when the Russians attack the West, keyword "Scourge of God" like Our Lady told in Fatima. (Well, naturally that Chastisement will hit the entire world). Only then can a purged and catholic Germany raise again from the ashes.

But God is merciful. For example I talked to some German SSPX priests from the resistance recently and it was delightful. Very good and faithful priests. By the way, Fr. Pfeiffer's father is German, too. We recognised Fr. Pfeiffer's German roots the moment we heard his wonderful Pentecost sermon which shows a lot of (positive) Furor Teutonicus. We really love it. Who is on the Lord's side?

    • Let's distinguish the older Fr. Niklaus Pfluger from some of his younger brothers who are also SSPX priests but not like to him.
[**] IM means Inoffizieller Mitarbeiter = unofficial staff, and was the title in the communistic East Germany (where Krah was raised) for the secret informants of the Stasi = State Security of East Germany.

This sounds too nice! + Fellay was not recruiting priests but actually working with these priests through his D.Superiors and personally to betray these chapels to get them to do the 1962 Missal, and become under the SSPX or be destroyed! Some priests obeyed and caused divisions and even used lies and detraction (to put it mildly) to control the faithful. Those priests who refused to betray the independent chapels were threatened with spiritual desolation, isolation, and the denial of sacred oils and the other sacraments.

Now the intention is very clear: to deliver them to Rome and even close their chapels under 3 years (of SSPX ownership) and merge them with the other chapels. How pleasing to Rome.
