A very powerful talk everyone should listen to and reflect on. It was even more powerful in person. And I believe the good Bishop’s righteous indignation was stirred up specifically because he was in St Marys and he began his talk reflecting on his former times visiting St Marys.
I remember the last time I was present when the good Bishop visited St Marys. Hundreds came out to see and greet him. He was treated with the dignity and respect his office and person deserve, placed in a reserved seat at the front of the large, packed auditorium.
What a change to yesterday’s reception in a rented hall, hastily arranged as best as could be under the circuмstances (very nice given the conditions of the resistance, but not what the good Bishop is used to).
And so few faithful to greet His Excellency. The hundreds staying away this time…”for fear of the Jєωs…”
And why the change?
Because Bishop Fellay has poisoned the minds of the faithful against the good Bishop. Poisoned them with his weasel words (the good Bishop’s characterization!..which I repeat because it is true). Fellay, the traitor Bishop (again the good Bishop’s characterization which I make my own because it is so true!), lies (yes Bishop Williamson calls him a liar…because he is!) to the people of St Marys…and the majority are only too willing to believe the lies and shun the good Bishop and soothe their itching ears with the smooth lies of the traitor Bishop “with the toothpaste smile” (yes the good Bishop is funny as well as tough).
Discouraging to see the shallow faith of so many in St Marys. Very encouraging to hear the inspiring words of the good Bishop, and to see the good Catholic families of the resistance…the strong men, the beautiful ladies, the inspiring young people, the good families, the faithful older folks.
God bless Bishop Williamson. God Bless the resistance!
