A video of Bishop Williamson on Youtube has this for it's content section:
UPDATE (09-16-12): Bishop Williamson's recent actions against the Superior General of the Society of St. Pius X are cause for great concern. It is well known that I have personally uploaded numerous videos that have portrayed Bishop Williamson in a favorable light. For the record, I firmly denounce Bishop Williamson's recent actions—actions that are clearly animated by a spirit of rebellion. Even if we were to grant that he has valid points here and there, the means Bishop Williamson has embraced will never be blessed by God. Disobedience is not the will of God. In this difficult time, true sons of Archbishop Lefebvre will fall to their knees and pray for our four Bishops, particularly Bishop Fellay. Our priests and bishops need our prayers more than ever. —Michael
Who can't see the contradictions? And what is this person up to...claiming rights to Bishop Williamson's sermons? What devilish plot is being carried out?
Disobedience? What the Archbishop did was disobedience too. What kind of sick emotional thinking is this person doing?? The spirit of Vatican II resides in him
The SSPX started BECAUSE Mgr Lefebvre challenged the liberalism, ecuмenism, etc., arising from VII!!! Of course you can call that disobedience, but that is exactly what Mgr Williamson has continued to denounce, the errors which arose from VII, as did Mgr Lefebvre. So, he is ousted from the SSPX for following our great Founder!
How often does one have to repeat the same message? and WHY oh WHY is it so difficult for so many priests of the Society to ignore their own Founder's reason for their own 'raison d'être'? Why are they not defending those very principles on which the Society of St Pius X was founded and which led them to Tradition?
Bishop Fellay has been far too long as Sup Gen and is arrogating to himself 'absolute power'! Not good, not good, not good for anyone, least of all, himself. Even Margaret Thatcher did not rule as long :dancing: The Society needs to review its constitution and not allow any superior more than one term of office, and even that should be reduced to 6 years. The finances should not either be in the hands of one person for so long, and annual accounts should be audited by independent auditors and published each year, at least among the superiors and bishops.
It seems strange that it should be Mr. Krah who talks about the finances of the Society to the world at large, and clarifies supposedly erroneous assumptions...??? Should that not have fallen to the Sup Gen to keep us informed? :read-paper:
