Yes, and that's why I like the picture. Bishop Williamson did not care for things like "formal" pictures, and you can see him smirking there. One time when Bishop Williamson showed up at a chapel I was at to participate in the chapel's, was it 25th?, anniversary, there were a couple of really sappy, highly emotional, speeches, and Bishop Williamson came around the back where only I was, and being comfortable/familiar with me, made the gesture of sticking a finger into the back of his throat as if it were making him nauseous. He didn't care much for things like that. Of course, that's why it was utterly incongruous to me that he liked Valtorta, since one couldn't go a paragraph without eliciting some emetic response and wanting to put that same finger in the throat.
In the picture, he's smirking not only due to the formality of the picture, but also undoubtedly due to the artificial "pose" he was making.
