Everything went well today! We had 55-60 faithful in attendance. We had a delightful potluck afterwards.

In short, this visit was a huge blessing, which extended well beyond today itself. The chapel began to benefit from today's visit about 2 weeks ago, and the effects (all good!) will be felt for weeks and months to come.

Note the improvements to our makeshift altar. It has been upgraded in about 5 ways in the past 2 weeks. Better candles/followers, gradines (the raised platforms under the candlesticks), a much larger backdrop, the trim around the backdrop, and much nicer material in front of the altar.

I hope to post the sermon soon, but I'll be travelling to Houston tomorrow morning to attend the conference there.

From many years ago, I have some idea what it takes to put all that together, but for a lot less than 60 people! Phenomenal job Matthew and Mater!

Neil - why do you mention Mater D? Are you referring to the cathinfo member materdominici? And, is that matthew's wife?

Nothing beats his sermons on the Crisis. Bishop Williamson had to be gotten rid of because he couldn't be "dialogued" with. Thank God for that.

The Stella Maris chapel looks beautiful!
I mean, every chapel is beautiful because it houses Our Lord but I like the Stained Glass.
