Œuvre hiérarchique
Comme œuvre d’Église, la Fraternité reconnait le Pape François comme Pape de la Sainte Église catholique et promet obéissance au Pontife Romain dans tous ses actes légitimes.
La Fraternité adhère de tout cœur, de toute son âme à la Rome catholique, gardienne de la foi catholique et des traditions nécessaires au maintien de cette foi, à la Rome éternelle, maîtresse de sagesse et de vérité.
Par contre elle refuse et a toujours refusé de suivre la Rome de tendance néo-moderniste et néo-protestante qui s’est manifestée clairement dans le concile Vatican II et après le concile dans toutes les réformes qui en sont issues. » [2]

Œuvre structurée
L’organisation pratique de la Fraternité suit ses Statuts, reconnus et loués par l’Église. Ces statuts, tout orientés vers la sanctification du prêtre, donnent le cadre et les règles que ses membres s’efforcent de suivre. C’est en particulier par la vie commune, organisée dans des prieurés, que les membres trouvent « un milieu où respire un air de Foi, de prière, de charité fraternelle » [3].
Œuvre apostolique
« La Fraternité est essentiellement apostolique. » [4] Ses membres, lorsqu’ils ne se consacrent pas à la formation des futurs prêtres dans les séminaires, se dévouent au service des fidèles dans les chapelles, les écoles, les missions et les œuvres d’apostolat.

Structured work
The practical organization of the Fraternity follows its Statutes, recognized and praised by the Church. These statutes, all oriented towards the sanctification of the priest, provide the framework and rules that its members strive to follow. It is in particular through common life, organized in priories, that members find "an environment where there is an air of Faith, prayer and fraternal charity"[3].
Apostolic work
"The Fraternity is essentially apostolic."[4] Its members, when they do not dedicate themselves to the formation of future priests in seminaries, devote themselves to the service of the faithful in chapels, schools, missions and apostolic works. We have only one desire, to make Catholic priests because the Catholic Church cannot continue without priests. We have no other ambition than to be able to breathe our last breath by saying that we have contributed to the construction of the Church and not to its destruction.” [5]
