Title: Bishop Williamson's words in 2003

Quote
But how then will we ever know that the Romans are back to professing the true Faith upon its true basis? Archbishop Lefebvre used to reply: when they subscribe to Pius IX’s Quanta Cura (against liberalism in politics), to Pius X’s Anti-Modernist Oath (against modernism in religion) and to Pius XI’s Quas Primas (against secularism in society). And the sure sign of the Romans’ subscribing sincerely to these papal docuмents will be when they have no more problem with the SSPX, assuming always that the latter will not have budged. In other words, until the Romans subscribe as above, any Rome-SSPX agreement is impossible, and once they subscribe, it will no longer be necessary! Meanwhile, as the Romans tug towards Conciliar perdition, the one thing that the “schismatic” anchorman must do is not budge one inch from his “schism”! (Rector's Letters, August 9, 2003)

Who would have ever guessed 10 years ago of just how many hundreds of priests that were formed in the seminaries of the SSPX that these words were to fall on so many deaf ears!

Unfortunately, I believe +W is right. There's not much hope in the coming General Chapter meeting... let's pray for a miracle.

The cognitive dissonance is frightening. Nevertheless, we must carry on striving to be integral Catholics. The world doesn't want it but Our Lord does. We need to "butt heads" with the world in charity and joy but with resilience and determination.

Integral -- do you mean we should become integrists?

an integral Catholic is the opposite of a Sunday Catholic.

Integral means whole, as opposed to schizoid or divided.

It means 24/7 Catholic. Also "fundamentalist" as in, having beliefs that affect daily life.
