It looks revealing that none of the stories I've seen try to defend this question of how the hosts were consecrated.
There must be a fly in the ointment.
Were the hosts consecrated before the Mass began, and if so, where? Were they consecrated all at once or in many places? Were those all priests then, holding the ciboriums in the front rows, what, for 2 hours all during the Newcanonizations?
Or, is this whole scene breaking with longstanding Sacramental Theology that says that any substance not placed on the corporal during the Consecration is not affected by the same consecration? Otherwise, the baker across the street could have a donut shop full of Communion Donuts. Or, a Jєωιѕн deli with consecrated bagel chips.
