On the declaration of the Holy See and the Marian titles of Co-Redemptrix and Mediatrix.

Just as God gave Adam, in the person of Eve, a helper like him, so also God gave to the new Adam (Jesus Christ), Mary, the new Eve, as a helper like Him. Mary Most Holy is, therefore, the helper similar to Our Lord:  adjutorium simile sibi (Genesis 2:18), who participates in the Redemption as taught by the Magisterium of the Church.

The Church has collected the arguments of the Fathers and Doctors, and has already spoken about this prerogative on more than one occasion. However, the privilege of the Co-Redemptrix, as well as that of the Mediatrix of All Graces, has not yet been proclaimed dogma. No doubt the Second Vatican Council was the great obstacle to this declaration.

The Conciliar Church does not cease to place obstacles to true doctrine, for it is a New Church, a new religion that has occupied the true one. As long as this situation endures, there will hardly be authentic dogmatic definitions, for liberals and modernists have corrupted the eternal notion of truth, as St. Pius X teaches.

Let us ask Our Lady, Co-Redemptrix of the human race, to come to the aid of Holy Church.

While I believe that the Title can be legitimate, I also think it can be misleading if not properly explained and too much is being made of this ... as the Modernists have done much worse.

You can find pre-V2 theologians who think the term is confusing, and if you look at what the Prevostian Vatican wrote, they did not say that title cannot be understood in a true sense, just that without proper explanation it could be misleading, and, as mentioned, pre-V2 theologians said the same thing.
