  • What Mass would he have said during his visit? The Novus Ordo or the Tridentine?

  • Has anyone heard anything about what transpired at the Priests Meeting?

It is in the past now.

Our priest just made a short announcement about The Angelus magazine -- obviously instructed to do so from above. He mentioned that they've made it more readable, larger font, easier to digest, etc.

Of course I saw right through that announcement for what it was -- a plea to "please consume the SSPX propaganda". Perhaps readership is down, due to the more SERIOUS Catholics -- the ones interested in doctrine, the thinking ones, to whom the Faith is central in their lives, moving to the Resistance and cancelling their subscriptions to The Angelus?

If I was that dead-set on wasting my time, I would rather browse Youtube videos than read that material admixed with propaganda. At least the Youtube videos are sometimes funny...

A table of contents is one thing, however, what is contained therein, and how it is expressed, can be another.

  • Perhaps it was too harsh to describe it as "slop".

It is mixed with propaganda and Vatican II apologetics (defense) though, and I wouldn't waste my time with it any more than I'd waste time reading the Wanderer, etc.

We do know that one priest (at an official Priests Meeting no less) told those present that it's "prudent" to limit one's family to 4 or 5 (I can't remember the exact number).

Sounds like he was ahead of his time -- Pope Francis recently called parents of big families "rabbits". See what I mean? They're all on the same page now.

It is certainly time to start warning folks about "Same Pageism".

Do we have proof that that comment was actually made?  Wasn't it a third or fourth hand repetition by someone known to exaggerate and make gross inaccuracies with a bitter zeal?  IMO, that makes it not a reliable enough rumor to have any confidence of its accuracy.

On the same page and reading from the same script. And I'm positive there is a script.
"This principle is most certain: The non-Christian cannot in any way be Pope. The reason for this is that he cannot be head of what he is not a member. Now, he who is not a Christian is not a member of the Church, and a manifest heretic is not a Christian, as is clearly taught by St. Cyprian, St. Athanasius, St. Augustine, St. Jerome, and others. Therefore, the manifest heretic cannot be Pope." -- St. Robert Bellarmine

  • We must pray especially me and not worry and put our faith in God.  We are the Church Militant for real.  If we look at Church history and lives of the saints there has been always persecutions and even evil in Rome but always Jesus is King and the Catholic Church survives.
Jesus Christ yesterday, today and forever.
May God bless you and keep you

If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ" Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit" (Jn 3:5) let him be anathema.

  • I was hoping for more information about the meeting, but I did not get anything from the priest. He just made an announcement about the Angelus magazine being in a larger font and not as lofty in tone.

I've got a question in these regards:

A lady raised concern to a Society priest about if it was permissible to attend mass at her dad's parish (literally, her dad is functioning as a priest via Vatican married priest initiative launched by JP II), and she told me the Society priest said it was at least OK to go for adoration. At the time, I lifted an eyebrow, but didn't say anything because I wasn't sure if the priest was being prudent or if he was being overly sensitive to her situation and subsequently putting her in danger because of that...

Any advice I could pass on to her?

    "Token Accordista #1",

No, it's unfortunately all too true.

But go ahead and put that head of yours back into the nice, warm sand.
