The First Pastoral Visit of His Excellency, Most Rev. Paul Morgan, to St. Pius X Catholic Fidelity in Nigeria marks a momentous event for the faithful Catholic resistance in Africa. This visit underscores the unwavering missionary efforts of our clergy: Fr. Ndong, Fr. Chigbata, and Fr. Onuorah. Notably, Fr. Ndong was ordained within the SSPX by one of its bishops, while Fr. Chigbata and Fr. Onuorah were conditionally reordained in the Traditional Roman Rite by Bishop Tomas Aquinas, OSB, of Brazil.

During this visit, Fr. Christopher Nduefuna was conditionally reordained by His Excellency, Most Rev. Paul Morgan, according to the Traditional Roman Rite. In addition, Mr. Basil Kator received the tonsure, marking a significant milestone in his journey toward the priesthood.

This pastoral visit is a profound grace for traditional Catholics in Nigeria, who remain steadfast in preserving the faith amidst modernist pressures. Although Padre Chazal has expressed a strong desire to visit Africa, his demanding schedule of teaching and missionary work continues to pose challenges.

While growth is gradual, the faithful resistance is steadily increasing. The term "resistance," though sometimes perceived negatively, aptly describes the clergy and laity who remain unwavering in their adherence to the mission of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre. This mission resists the modernist liberal agenda of the conciliar Church, now increasingly identified as the "Synodal Church of Rome."

We humbly remind all that we are simple Catholic clergy striving to serve the Church faithfully in her sacred traditions. Rejecting the modern errors introduced by Vatican II, we are committed to preserving the authentic priesthood and the Traditional Roman Rite of the Catholic Church. As St. Athanasius, the defender of the Faith during the Arian crisis, reminds us:

"They have the buildings, but we have the Faith."

Similarly, St. Pius X warned:
"The true friends of the people are neither revolutionaries nor innovators, but traditionalists."

May this pastoral visit by Bishop Morgan inspire and strengthen the faithful in Nigeria to continue defending and preserving the timeless truths of the Catholic Church. 🙏

May it also encourage some donations for the building of their church:
