  • Dear faithful and friends,

A Novus Ordo Bishop from Zwitzerland, friend of Pope Francis, is said to plan his retirement at a Swiss school of the SSPX, with the tacit approval of the Pope. This bishop is Bp. Huonder, 76 years old.

We had a similar case about 20 years ago, with Bishop Lazzlo from the Philippines, except he was already in retirement. And the big difference was that he actually repudiated the Conciliar Church and its errors and sacraments. He clearly said that, as a priest and then a bishop, he had been lied to and tricked by the Conciliar hierarchy, and he didn't know much about Tradition and the evils of Vatican II, until he started to read books from the Society. (Fr. Couture, who was Superior of Asia at the time, has played a big role in Bp Lazzlo's conversion to the true Church)..

I wonder if Bp Huonder will do the same thing? When I look at the pictures featuring him with altar girls and giving communion in the hands to women in shorts, and being all lovey-dovey with Pope Francis, I think that when some commentators call him "conservative" they don't really know what this word means!

If Bp Huonder is allowed by Rome to retire in a house of the SSPX, that would be another sign of the Society being "normalized" by Rome.

If the SSPX doesn't oblige this Modernist bishop to repudiate the Conciliar Church's doctrine, and sacraments, and laws, that would be another sign it is ready to compromise in order to please the Conciliar Church.

Here is a link to a translation from Rorate Caeli (a semi-traditional website) of an article in French about the news: https://rorate-caeli.blogspot.com/2019/01/papally-approved-unexpectedly-new.html

Here is a link to Non Possumus (full traditional and Resistance website) showing pictures of Bp Huonder in full modernist splendor: http://nonpossumus-vcr.blogspot.com/2019/01/unas-fotos-interesantes-de-mons-huonder.html

    God bless you all,

    Fr. Girouard
