  • Found this under General Discussion. Against the Heresies said,

    Quote
    New SSPX Superior for Germany

    Quote:
Father Firmin Udressy, currently Prior in Munich, will be Superior of the German district of the SSPX

He succeeds Father Franz Schmidberger, who has been appointed Regens of the seminary of the Sacred Heart in Zaitzkofen.

The new District Superior, Fr. F. Udressy, is from Switzerland (as Mgr. Fellay and Fr. Pfluger) and just 35 years old.

Fr. Schmidberger has been Seminary Rector of Zaitzkofen already in 1978/79 and 2003-2005.

The actual Seminary Rector of Zaitzkofen, Fr. Frey (from Switzerland as Mgr. Fellay and Fr. Pfluger), will become District Superior of Austria.

(Transfers will take place at August 15th.)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the faculty of every SSPX seminary apart from Econe happily promoting the Neo-SSPX Conciliarism? I know that at Winona, the seminarians are being brainwashed.
Adversus hostem Fidei aeterna auctoritas esto! To the enemies of the Faith no quarter!

For the German and Austrian district this means to jump out of the frying pan into the fire.

Because the Swiss-French Fr Firmin Udressy is a 100% Menzingen yes-man, and he's culturally incompatible with Germany, as is Fr Rostand with USA. So he will be the "new Fr Rostand" for Germany. I'm sure Incredulous & Hollingsworth will understand my words very well. :-)

Also the Swiss-German Fr Frey is a 100% Menzingen yes-man. And of all things they transfer him to Austria. Another Röstigraben probably.

Interestingly Fr Schmidberger never really subordinated to Menzingen -- although theologically Menzingen and Stuttgart both wanted to join Newrome. However, when last year Fr Schmidberger noticed that Newrome would demand too much from the Neo-SSPX (acceptance of Vatican II) he officially in his German district newsletter canceled the reunification. And it's easy to imagine that Menzingen was very angry about this, because they want their unification with Newrome ASAP.

This is in no way an apology of Fr Schmidberger's bad behaviour. Just to underline that Menzingen and Stuttgart were often on bad terms with each other. And Fr Pfluger often complaint about this, i.e. about Fr Schmidberger not "obeying" to Bp Fellay.

So soon all large SSPX districts got their 100% yes-men as district superiors, and very French ones on top of that.

You're correct. Also Zaitzkofen is 100% Neo-SSPX. Well, no surprise since Fr Schmidberger and than also Fr Niklaus Pfluger were seminary rectors there and both want or wanted to join Newrome.

Anecdote: When Fr. Niklaus Pfluger was rector of the German Zaitzkofen seminary, every year when the matter "religious liberty" was on the lectures' program, he asked a professor there to take over this part of the lecture, because he (Fr Pfluger) said: I just don't understand this subject-matter named "religious liberty".
This was so for several years and told a lot, according to this professor.

This is just another little mosaic stone which however together form the bigger picture: Why Menzingen with such theological "master-minds" like Bp. Fellay and his 1st Assistant Fr Pfluger want to join the heretical Newrome:

"I do believe that these [SSPX] leaders have never understood what Archbishop Lefebvre was all about. They are children of their age."
(Bishop Williamson about the SSPX leaders in his EC 283: Farewell, Wimbledon)

Dear Cristera, I don't know why they removed the South-German Fr Trutt. He too is pro sellout, but apparently the Swiss Fr. Frey is closer to Menzingen.

Maybe our dear Against the Heresies knows more?

  • Greetings, Ethelred, we are grateful for your information to complete the picture. I harboured the notion that all new SSPX ideas and policies emerged from the German zone and the numerous French were the good bureaucrats! The Anglo-Saxons, meanwhile, clean out the pigsties! Do I have to change this quick convenient assessment?

Yes, I think we Germans just joined you Anglo-Saxons in this, well, "important task" the Swiss leaders of the SSPX ordered... :-)
(With leaders I mean the Swiss-French Bp Fellay and the Swiss-German Fr Pfluger. Fr Schmidberger is neutralised now.)

Now why is this? The Lion of England explained in his great Bristol conference (summer 2012) that the so called neutrality of Switzerland bears the danger of encouraging liberal behaviour, because diplomacy is made so important.

I think this is true, unfortunately. I don't know of one single resistance priest in Switzerland, but of a dozen in Austria and Germany.
However, every person can fight the liberalism. There's a brave Swiss-German resistance priest working in Austria and today in Germany. Also the brave Mother Superior of the German traditional Carmel in Brilon is a Swiss-German.

May God bless all the anti-liberal clerics (*) and help them to keep up the true Faith. And we laypeople should pray a lot for them.

    Sanct Nikolaus, pray for us!

(*) Fr Schmidberger in his delusional anti-Carmel editorial  (German District Newsletter, April 2012) warned the flock of an alleged "sectarian anti-liberalism". Interesting joke, concerning he's in the so called Society of St Pius X !
