Bp Fellay is the superior general of the order. Talks were agreed upon. The pope lifted the excommunications of all of the bishops even Bp Williamson. Bp Fellay has asked for prayers for him and the pope for him to make the right decision. All you people who oppose the Superior General are not considering the possibility that this may be the work of the Holy Ghost. A small branch that might be able to bring the Church back to tradition. Bp Williamson says a branch cannot save the Church.Archbishop Lefebvre was a mustard seed in the Vatican council yet he single handedly saved the Traditional Mass and the Traditional Sacraments. If a mustard seed could do it I say a branch can save the church. God will not abandon the SSPX because it speaks the truth and the truth will save our great Holy Roman Catholic Church. God bless Bp Fellay. We pray for the persecution that he is undergoing. And as he requested we pray for him and for the pope. the Vicar of Christ despite his convoluted thinking.
P.S. God is using the SSPX as an instrument to destroy the modernist heresy. Those who think that the heresy will infiltrate the SSPX seem to have more faith in the devil than God. God is on the side of the SSPX. God bless them.

I would ask the supporters of Bishop Fellay to please refrain from expressing hatred toward those who aren't willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

When you demand tolerance of others, where to you draw the line at giving it?

Tradlover, you are very dense.

We've said over and over, we don't HATE Bishop Fellay, but we do oppose what he is objectively doing, in the real world, which is, to wit:

Changing his position on Vatican II, and endeavoring, as much as lies in his power, to work a deal with Rome -- which hasn't converted or even shown any repentance for Vatican II and its reforms, I might point out.

The facts are the facts. It is what it is.

And, Tradlover, if I might ask you a question -- are you a Trad Catholic?

If so, you are disobeying the Pope, the Vicar of Christ.

+Fellay is not the Vicar of Christ, and has no claim to infallibility, much less impeccability (lack of sin).

Christ never promised that the Gates of Hell wouldn't prevail over the SSPX.

If we can oppose Pope Benedict XVI, we can CERTAINLY oppose "Pope" Fellay.

On the contrary, what has Bishop Fellay recently said about the Second Vatican Council?

That it is to be put into the great Tradition of the Church, that he agrees with 95% of it, that the SSPX is more faithful to it than liberals, that what they condemned in the Council is not from the Council but from an understanding of the Council.
