  • What on earth gave you that idea?  I was under the impression that the reconciliation was getting closer and closer.  After all, don't you think Bishop Fellay wants to be reconciled before the "Year of Mercy" is ended and his faculties to hear "reconciliations" (traditional Catholics would say confessions) ends?

  • He's probably tying up loose ends for the grand announcement at the end of Mercy Year, or whatever it's called.

  • So +Fellay meets with the pope and CDF head on the same day the pope meets with 1,000 Lutheran pastors and praises Dr. Luther to the heavens, while condemning proselytism as poison to ecuмenism.

Oh...that day was also the 99th anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun at Fatima.

    I posted tongue in cheek.
    I totally agree with you.

"Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it underfoot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor but a destroyer."  St. Francis of Assisi
