    • Whoever made that sculpture also made one that looked like a mix between a cat and an alien. Apparently that person sure knew how to make UGLY so-called "artwork"!

      I was looking for the Saint Marys Academy and College website. I clicked the wrong link. It came up with Saint Marys school in North Carolina. That's where I found that picture. So many of us are so far removed from the NO we wouldn't believe our eyes if we stepped into a modern day "Catholic" church. Here's the link: http://www.sms.edu/

    • Referring to the sculpture work in Paul VI hall in the Vatican, my sisters and I were there last September in audience with the Pope and we could not understand this horrific sculpture work.  The Pope sits in front of this sculpture  when he gives his audience.  See link to a picture of it below.

    It is supposed to be a representation of Jesus resurrecting from a crater of a nuclear bomb.

    This sculpture always reminds me of the Antichrist rising from the gates of Hell:




    (Too bad it's blocking a good view of the nice tapestry!)


    And then you put the Pope in front of it and all you can do is wonder.......









    And to think:  someone actually got paid to make that ugliness happen.  



    ....And then, if we're LUCKY, someone's gotta be paid to tear it out!  
    Probably would be worth something for the scrap metal, if there is any....
