  • Neil,
Thanks for posting the pictures.  I am technologically challenged ... I do not know how to get a picture on my post!

Yes this sculpture looks like it is inspired from hell.

Or how about this? Does Bishop Fellay really want to join this?

Whoever made that sculpture also made one that looked like a mix between a cat and an alien. Apparently that person sure knew how to make UGLY so-called "artwork"!

And who would chose him for such a project after viewing his portfolio?

  • And here is a thought about Rome's dogged  pursuit of ecuмenism from someone who spent a few years astray in evangelical Protestantism:

They already think that Rome is evil, and the Pope is the Antichrist. Holy Father, having your photo taken in front of that evil looking hunk of junk just makes them more sure that Catholic Church is the Wh-re of Babylon as their pastors preach. It may be making some Catholics wonder as well.

  • Why is the art of the novus ordites so repulsive?

There's a dark tone to that sculpture that should properly be scene as grotesque and inspiring thoughts of Dante and not the Resurrection of Our Lord.

Besides, on a theological basis, didn't Christ already rise?  A nuclear explosion wouldn't kill Him.  It would be more appropriate for a traditional statue of Christ crowned and on His Throne blessing, one by one, any victims of a nuclear explosion who merit Heaven.

From an aesthetic viewpoint, the entire piece of work is wretched.

It even reminds Americans of scenes from those zombie movies.

Thank you, Telesphorus. I couldn't find a description like that anywhere on their site. Thanks for that.

The Paul VI hall in the Vatican, does that fiqure represent the resurrection,
    or the decent into hell?
That figure causes me to have unholy thoughts.

Looks like something from Dante's Inferno to me.

    I agree.

Wonder why they really want to make Paul Vl at Saint.

Because he's a "Jєω." Not really the fact that he's a "Jєω" as much as he's a Freemason for their new world religion. A new religion requires new "saints," and to the Freemasons, Paul VI is among their best.

  • If you wanna see some really disgusting novus ordo "art" then just put in a youtube search "Rape of the Soul" and look at Steven Erspamer's "art." It's disgusting, and just an example of how Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ degenerates everything it touches.

I have to agree completely. I was born Protestant and wandered in many directions before finding my way right into the Traditional Catholic Faith. The Novus Ordo is so completely out of touch on all sides. They think that VAtican ll is going to bring the Protesrants back "into the fold". That somehow all the changes will make them jump back in. Don't they know what the Protestants really think? As stated above, a great many think that the Catholic Church is the "antichrist", etc. And another great number simply see Vatican ll as the (400 hundred year late) arrival of the beginning of the reformation in the Catholic Church. I remember being taught. (after Vatican ll), that now those Catholics were starting to become more Christian, they were getting rid of "popish" things, statues, altars, Mary, "adoration and carrying about the Holy Communion"(see Anglican 39 articles of Religion), etc, etc. No, the Protestants are still waiting to see more reforms!

  • +1 to this thread, and the pictures here. I hope it causes many lurkers to research more about the whole Vatican II counterchurch and its quest to destroy souls. The people in the pews may be innocent, but the wolves in sheeps clothing calling themselves priests, bishops, and popes in it are anything but.
