  • This is insane money being spent. Who subsidizing the Society?

Does anyone have some kind of rough estimate?  For the 'larger' USA projects it looks like:

    45 million - Immaculata, St. Mary's
    30 million - Seminary
60 million - Post Falls parking lot

That's 135 million dollars and they're looking for something in Florida?  What about outside the US?  That is a fat chunk of change.  Not sure why they can't afford to pay their teachers a decent wage but, hey, I'm just a layman.

  • "Once again the SSPX in utilizing a Florida Novus Ordo church for Confirmations. This first occurred in 2023 when Bp. Tissier de Mallerais administered Confirmations in this same Novus Ordo church."

I don’t understand what the problem is? If not not not SSPX chapel in Florida why not use another Catholic Church? Better than booking a plain hall or using a Protestant church. In UK it would have been possible to find a more beautiful and traditional church building but everything is probably newer and more modern looking in America.

  • "60 million for a parking lot?  Was it paved with gold?"

That's the estimate for completing what's already been sitting there for 20 years. Not sure how much that initial phase cost though.  Several million, I'm assuming.

    So,

Parking Lot with painted lines started - 5 million?
Parking Lot Finished - another 60 million

    Yep ... Krah, Jaidhof, etc.

You can be sure that there are many strings attached also.

Of course, they only partially fund these initiatives, since they also want SSPX very tightly strung out with debt so that they have to keep groveling to them if they get in trouble, percisely according to the Rothschild tactics.

  • Lad, maybe you missed the thread I started a few days ago, but the prior at Post Falls gave a sermon this past Sunday informing the laity that Switzerland just approved plans to move forward on a $60mm new church and campus 5 miles from where they are located now. I am a pretty decent "numbers" guy. I cannot see how they can financially pull this off in the 5 years they are proposing. IC had half the attendance of St Marys and their project was $48mm.

This is insane money being spent. Who subsidizing the Society?

Yeah ... I definitely missed that one.  But this facility I found there wanted 9.5 and it had that beautiful basilica chapel, and 72+ rooms for religious (I misremembered), and then it also had a long-term care facility (nursing home / assisted living) with 90+ beds that could be converted to more space for religious, a boarding school ... or, as Traditional Catholics get older, maybe they could keep using it for that?  Also has a school with classrooms, a "mansion", a library, a gymnasium / stage / auditorium, multiple other buildings such as garages, a small house.  This property is unreal, and NINE MILLION DOLLARS.  It's been kept up with also ... so it's not like a a basket case that needs an extra 30 million of work.  You couldn't build that chapel / basilica along for any money, and the $25 million being spent on the Immaculata wouldn't touch it.  But you'd get that + the other 160+ rooms, library, "mansion", auditorium, garage, house, etc. for 1/3 of the price being spent on Immaculata.

And Dillwyn still have their chapel in what looks like an elementary school gym.

If you “don’t understand what the problem is,” then you have already conceded the entire Conciliar framework.
The problem is that you cannot resist Vatican II while administering sacraments inside Novus Ordo churches. That act is not logistical. It is ecclesial. It publicly recognizes Conciliar structures, jurisdiction, and sacramental normalcy as legitimate. Archbishop Lefebvre explicitly rejected this because once sacramental life is integrated into the Conciliar system, resistance is over and the emergency justification collapses.
If there is no problem with this, then Vatican II is functionally acceptable, the New Mass is functionally Catholic, and Archbishop Lefebvre’s refusals, separations, and episcopal consecrations were unnecessary. That conclusion is unavoidable. And in fact, this is precisely the position adopted after 2012, when the Neo-SSPX formally accepted the New Mass as legitimately promulgated and Vatican II “in the light of Tradition.”
Either Lefebvre was right and this is a betrayal, or this is fine and Lefebvre was wrong. There is no third position.
    That is the problem.

For the SSPX to become the plausible trad Consiliar High Church, a lot of money is required.

We can argue about who was at fault going back to when +ABL consecrated the (4), but bottom line, their controlled opposition plan to infiltrate and corral "Traditional Catholics" has worked.

Bp. Fellay is newChurch in a long cassock... and he's laughing his butt off at the Trad Remnant.

    When discussing purchasing Catholic parish's that are being closed by the local Diocese you have to read the fine print of the sales docuмents.  When the Archdiocese in St. Louis started closing and consolidating multiple property's in the 2000's there were requirements in the purchase agreement that stated;

Can not purchase for, lease to or donate to any group that claim to be Roman Catholic that does not have the ecclesiastical approval of the Roman Catholic Church.

While traditional groups would love to purchase local parish property's up for sale, they don't want to get into a long lengthy legal battle with the deep pockets of the local Diocese.

Beautiful. I don't know how much this one cost.

Where are they getting the funds?  Well, when they were building the new Seminary in Virginia, they were asking for donations. They actually had to alter the original design to work within their budget, to cut costs...ask Fr Cyprian OSB.

    ********
But they have Jaidhoff Foundation, which was willed to the "Friends of the SSPX", which was a SEPARATE entity..and this privilege greatly distre$$ed +Fellay... ( He said:Paraphrased: Maria left a crazy amount of money...and the priest is already starting to spend it!!!!). But Krah took care of that.::)

Can't an individual buy it and then sell it to a Traditionalist group? You have to be able to outsmart the Modernists.

I think that is how + Williamson and 2 or 3 others bought the school in Lauzon Quebec, Canada, c. '87.

They got enough for a downpayment under another name, and then the local bishop wasn't happy when it was transferred to FSSPX. I believe that is how they worked it.. Same thing in Vernon B.C.  Fr. Greuter was in that area, and they fooled the local bishop.

...The roots of the Vernon congregation go back to around 1984, with its founder Father Paul Greuter saying the Old Latin mass in a basement chapel in Kamloops starting in 1973 and then later in other communities such as Barrière, Oliver, and Vernon as and when the demand arose.

In 1986, the former Ukrainian Catholic Church in Vernon was put up for sale and a group traditionalist parishioners who were sympathetic to Father Greuter managed to raise the funds to acquire the building. Our Lady Queen of Peace Church held its first high mass on May 18th, 1986..." I drove their altar from MN USA. (Dorothy?) to Vernon...June 2, snowing at the mountain Pass...The good 'ole days.
