SS I saw Caminus say he wasn't for a deal if it involved compromise. I'd say that's the bottom line for most people here. The difference lies in what we think we should do or say in the meantime until we find out more.

Fellay has shown in his own words that he has compromised on his position on Vatican II. Not to mention his extreme ignorance on the Jews.

As for being rude and arrogant,  I agree that someone can't be banned just for that. I myself have been arrogant before. What I was getting at is Caminus was nearly always that way. He went on uncharitable rampages and appeared to be on the verge of another one.

Nachos anyone??  I just made another hot, steaming recipe of my famous Ite ad Thomam Nachos Grande.

    Recipe:

Fresh restaurant-style, authentic Mexican-style tortilla chips

Mexican shredded cheese mix--colby, monterey, cheddar (Krafft, or if like many Trads you have a part-time Goat Farm then use varities of homemade goat cheese  )

Fried, shredded chicken breast from the bone (Mexican grocers sell mostly natural chicken breast and its inexpensive).

Can of Rotel salsa (hot, medium, or mild to taste)

Sour cream (again from the goats would be fine)

Salt and pepper, olive oil to taste.

Instructions: combine ingredients in an oven-proof casserole dish.  Bake for 5 minutes at 500 degrees F.  Top with sour cream, drizzle with EVOO, and serve!

    Bon a petit!

I understand this and I agree. I am not excited about his change of tone towards V2. I think it is a huge red flag.

In this thread however, my concern is that all of a sudden everyone has to walk and talk a certain way or else.

Not necessarily. Everyone who has been banned since this all started has been a dogmatic Fellay supporter. You are not one and, in spite of our disagreements, I will say that you are most kind.

It's people who go overboard in their defense of Fellay that are banned from here.
Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.

I have far from read every thread and post so perhaps there's stuff you all are seeing that I am missing.

Well, some of the posts made by those dogmatic Fellay supporters have been deleted. Caminus started a thread last night that was deleted, Jitpring had some of his posts deleted after he compared us to the Jews, and two other Fellay supporters had a few of their posts deleted as well. So you won't see all the evidence, but I will say that those deleted posts won't be missed, I don't think.

For the record, I have been following and making posts in Catholic Info for years.
    I am not a "mole."

As I post this, Stupid Cow joined today and has made 12 posts.  The Guest forum is just a few weeks old.  So, at the very least, he's a poster with multiple ID's.  If I recall, this is one of the few absolute no-no's on this forum.

  • Caminus was banned after the *second* thread criticizing the Resistance Movement against a sellout to Modernist Rome.

Caminus seemed to be behind the times a bit -- he needs to get caught up information-wise.

I explained my reasons for banning him in a General Discussion thread entitled, "Caminus is banned -- temporarily" Please go read it.
