It seems to be the MO of the KY group, lack of consistency.  When they started offering Mass in this area we requested multiple times to have a consistent schedule... I.e. first Sunday of every other month, or every ninth Sunday etc but we were always told "no".  Often times we'd get a call one or two nights in advance or even as little as 12 hours notice.  Hard to build a loyal following with such a sporadic and inconsistent schedule.

Consistency builds trust.  Trust builds relationships.  The KYpriests never quite got that. Eventually, what ever spark was here fizzled out.  I'm guessing the flame that was burning at OLMC is starting to smolder.

This is one of the reasons that Fr. Voigt has operated somewhat independently for a long time now. When he was coming here, we always knew his schedule weeks beforehand. He purchased his own plane tickets so that he could do so in advance and give sufficient notice of Mass schedules.
