Our Lady of Good Success, venerated in Quito, Ecuador, has imparted prophetic messages crucial for our understanding of the crises afflicting the Church in modern times. These revelations, given to Venerable Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres in the late 16th and early 17th centuries, foretold significant religious and societal upheavals, pointing specifically to the widespread corruption of customs and the dimming of the Faith.
The prophecies of Our Lady of Good Success have seen startling fulfillments over the centuries, including the proclamation of the dogmas of the Immaculate Conception and Papal Infallibility, and notably, the martyrdom of the valiant Catholic president of Ecuador, Gabriel García Moreno. This devout leader was αssαssιnαtҽd for his unyielding Catholic principles, a fate Our Lady described centuries before it occurred. His consecration of Ecuador to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, by a decree of Congress in 1873, was a monumental act that sustained Catholic religion during tumultuous times as foreseen by Our Lady.

Our Lady’s revelations also anticipated crises from the 19th century onward, marking a near-total corruption of customs and a reign of Satan through Masonic sects. She warned of severe sacramental profanations and an almost extinguished light of Faith, challenged by the encroachment of the Judaic-Protestant service of the Novus Ordo, stemming from the anti-council, Vatican II. Amidst this dire setting, the prophecy of a holy prelate was revealed, foreordained to staunchly counter the tide of apostasy and impiety.
In a sermon delivered during the consecration of bishops in 1988, Archbishop Lefebvre remarked on this prophecy, suggesting a personal resonance with the role of this holy prelate:

"Just recently, the priest who takes care of the Society priory in Bogota, Colombia, brought me a book concerning the apparition of Our Lady of 'Buen Suceso'—of 'Good Fortune,' to whom a large church in Quito, Ecuador, was dedicated. They [the prophetic words of Our Lady] were received by a nun shortly after the Council of Trent, so you see, quite a few centuries ago. This apparition is thoroughly recognized by Rome and the ecclesiastical authorities; a magnificent church was built for the Blessed Virgin Mary wherein the faithful of Ecuador venerate with great devotion a statue of Our Lady, whose face was made miraculously. And Our Lady prophesied for the twentieth century, saying explicitly that during the nineteenth century and most of the twentieth century, errors would become more and more widespread in Holy Church, placing the Church in a catastrophic situation. Morals would become corrupt and the Faith would disappear. It seems impossible not to see it happening today. I excuse myself for continuing this account of the apparition, but she speaks of a prelate who will absolutely oppose this wave of apostasy and impiety—saving the priesthood by forming good priests. I do not say that prophecy refers to me. You may draw your own conclusions. I was stupefied when reading these lines but I cannot deny them, since they are recorded and deposited in the archives of this apparition."

“The Sermon of His Excellency +Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre on the occasion of the Episcopal Consecrations,”Angelus, 11 (July, 1988), pg. 33.

Prophecy Fulfillment:

Prophesied Corruption and Apostasy: The corruption of customs and near-extinction of faith predicted align closely with the secular influences and doctrinal dilutions post-Vatican II.

Prophesied Martyrdom: Gabriel García Moreno’s assassination in 1875 mirrors the prophesied fate of a Catholic leader opposing secular and anti-Catholic forces, reflecting the hostility faced by those upholding traditional Catholic values.

Prophesied Holy Prelate: +Archbishop Lefebvre’s actions during the Church's modern crisis mirror the prophetic descriptions:

Formation of Good Priests: Founding the Society of St. Pius X to preserve traditional Catholic priesthood and teachings.

Opposition to Modernist Trends: His public resistance to the changes implemented following Vatican II and the Novus Ordo.

Excommunication: Echoing the martyrdom theme, his excommunication for consecrating bishops without Vatican approval in 1988, viewed by supporters as an unjust penalty for preserving orthodoxy.
Given the stark parallels between the circuмstances described by Our Lady and the ecclesiastical landscape influenced and countered by +Archbishop Lefebvre's actions, it becomes increasingly evident why he was and continues to be the fulfillment of this prophecy. His foundational role in forming good priests and preserving the traditional Catholic Faith through the founding of the Society of St. Pius X aligns deeply with the mission described in the prophecies of Our Lady of Good Success.

It becomes clear that +Archbishop Lefebvre’s life and work not only resonated with the prophetic messages of Our Lady but also embodied the courageous spirit of Gabriel García Moreno. Both were pivotal figures who championed the kingship of Christ in their respective spheres—García Moreno in the political realm of Ecuador and Lefebvre in the spiritual battles within the Church.

Thus, +Archbishop Lefebvre stands as a beacon of hope and a model of fidelity, proving that the preservation of tradition and the true Faith is not only necessary but possible, even in times of great trial and apostasy. His legacy continues to inspire and guide those who seek to remain faithful to the unerring teachings of the Church and the perennial call to holiness.

+Archbishop Lefebvre was the one who continued with the unblemished faith, and now the true faith, along with the true sacrifice of Calvary, which has been introduced and established in about 60 countries. Inspiring others, the devil is currently trying to reverse this through mechanisms such as the 2012 doctrinal declaration by Bishop Fellay, which aimed to slow this progress. However, the faith is still being preserved in his sons within the true Catholic resistance, who have not compromised with modernist Rome or compromised on doctrine and are calling out the errors of modernist Rome and of the Conciliar SSPX. Therefore, the now Conciliar SSPX needs to return to tradition before Modernist Rome converts.

In these troubling times, it is imperative to remember that the only path to the Father is through His Son, and the only way to the Son, who is the Head of the Church, is through the Neck, which is Our Lady. To restore and safeguard our Church, we must adhere to the guidance of the holy prelate, +Archbishop Lefebvre, as prophesied by Our Lady of Good Success.

Our Lady of Quito, pray for us!

The tree is known by its fruit. Today CMRI is strong in the Catholic Faith with valid Priests and a strong mission guided by our Lady and the Holy Ghost without compromise. God bless Archbishop Thuc.

I am grateful that Archbishop Lefebvre took a stand against the apostates in Rome in 1988.

Not Archbishop Lefevbre...

Not Thuc...

Someone yet to come...

The revelations specifically say that this holy prelate would do his work in the 21st century around the time that the Francisians would regain authority over the convent.  It is still currently in the hands of the local diocese/Archdiocese.

Here are a couple links worth reading which share actual quotes from the nun who Our Lady of Good Success appeared to:
