The humble truth is that we Catholics suffer an embarrassment of riches of holy priests worthy of consecration to the Roman episcopacy. But we too often feign not to notice for fear of a real return to the age-old Roman discipline.
Nevertheless even a handful of our best priests raised to the episcopal honours would do wonders far beyond the wildest dreams (and nightmares) of our contemporaries. There ought to be hundreds of such Roman Catholic bishops. We have the men and, as is said, “Do not say that there are yet four months and the harvest comes. Behold, I say to you: Lift up your eyes and behold the nations, for they are already white unto harvest.” (John 4:35)
And let us not forget that white is also the colour of the currently raging world-wide Christian Nationalist Counter-Revolution.
The nations are indeed
