  • Dear ......,

    Sincere greetings to you.
Please be informed that I have received the funds...

Kindly extend my profound gratitude and appreciation to all the donors.
I'm going to offer a month Holy mass intentionally for all the donors after the surgery and recovery. I will certainly communicate you when the time comes so that you join me in the spirit.

I may not know all the respective donors but God knows everyone of one you. He will surely reward everyone accordingly. I will also write again after the surgery to express further my sentiments of gratitude.

I have already contacted the medical team and they are going to schedule the surgery possibly by the end of this month or early July.
Keep me in your prayers as I do too.
    Thank you very sincerely.
    God bless.
    Fr Michael Chigbata.
Thanks be to God that he recieved enough funds!  Prayers for a successful surgery!

  • Happy feast of St.  Praxedes dear Father Macdonald,  hope you are fine today. I am writing on behalf of Fr. Michael Chigbata.  He said I should relate to you that he has done the eyes surgery in Lagos successfully in the two eyes. To God be the glory. He sends his unalloyed gratitude to you and your faithful. God bless you and reward you all most abundantly through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.

    Thank you dear Father.
Send our kind regards to all.
    God bless.
Yours in Jesus, Mary and Joseph,

  • Dear Friends, Family, and Medical Team,

I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for the boundless kindness, prayers, comforting words, and generous support—both emotional and financial—that you offered before, during, and after my eye surgeries on July 14 and July 17, 2025. Your selfless care played an indispensable part in the success of the surgeries and my ongoing recovery.

I am delighted to let you know that the surgeries were successful, and healing continues steadily. With daily use of the prescribed medications, my vision grows clearer and more vibrant with each passing day. Your support has been a light in this journey—lifting my spirits and fueling my hope.

As I promised before the surgery, I will dedicate the entire month of October to praying for your individual intentions in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Additionally, I plan to invoke the intercession of St. Joseph, patron saint of the Church and guardian of families, during the October devotions. May this devotion bring abundant grace, peace, and blessings into every aspect of your lives.

I would like also to extend special appreciation to the medical team, especially Dr. (Mrs.) Temitope Tijani, for her exceptional professionalism, humility, and compassionate care. Your remarkable expertise and gentle manner made all the difference. May God continue to bless you with wisdom, insight, and growing excellence in medical practice.

Thank you once again for being a source of strength, encouragement, and healing. I remain truly grateful to all of you.

Very sincerely yours in Jesus Christ,

    Fr. Michael Chigbata
