Does anyone know anything about this apparition? It's news to me.

When I was arguing with someone about the latest slanderous volley launched at Bishop Williamson, she retorted that she always knew he was wrong, because his words went against this quote. Here is what she threw out there:

I had never heard of "Our Lady of Sorrow" apparition. It sounds totally spurious to me. I tried to google search for 3 of those sentences -- no luck at all. It must be a modern false apparition.

For one thing, the Tridentine Mass we all know and love is NOT "as He gave it to you." Changes were certainly made to the Mass from 33 AD to 1500 AD.

This has nothing to do with the traditional devotion to "Our Lady of Sorrows".

There's a grammatical error there too. "For those who seek my Son and I elsewhere...' should be "... my Son and me..."

("For those who seek my Son and I elsewhere" does come up on Google for me.)

Our Lady of Sorrows has been an official title of Our Lady for a very, very long time. I had never heard of an apparition of Our Lady of Sorrows...until now.

The only thing I could find is, as Miseremini noted above, a supposed apparition in Africa in the 1980s and which may be on-going according to a couple of internet sources. It should be noted that the grammatical error noted above may be simply the work of a poor translator, but that does not change the fact that this is just another spurious Modernist apparition and is being used for political purposes and not for the salvation of souls.

There is a very famous miracle of Our Lady of Sorrows which took place in the refrectory at the Jesuit College in Quito, Ecuador, in April, 1906. She opened and closed her eyes and appeared to cry while a few of the children were praying for the victims of the San Francisco earthquake. This prodigy repeated itself many times over the next days, months and years. The devotion and replicas of this portrait did spread all over the world. (I am fortunate enough to have one in my home. We used to distribute this replica in the local SSPX Chapel bookstore and received many orders from different parts of the country from people who knew of its availability.) Could a replica of this beautiful portrait be a source of the above? I have never heard of any words associated with this miracle; however, it is worthy of further research
