  • Yes and let's not forget he is coming soon to America for confirmations.
I believe early June late May.
It would be a great time to come and show support and show unity.

Isn't the opening picture above Spring 33 A.D. a picture of Judas from the movie The Passion.?  I think the OP was indicating Bishop Fellay was his successor.

Matto was talking about Williamson, and so was holysoulsacademy:

It sounds to me like +F is presented here as being his reincarnation after 1,979 years.

You know, JPII did not criticize Buddhists for believing in reincarnation -- that wouldn't have been 'ecuмenical' and so then he wouldn't have been canonized!  But he HAS been canonized, so therefore believing in reincarnation can't be so terrible.  And don't forget JPII was canonized by Francis, who says he does not believe in a Catholic God.

IOW, it's okay to believe that, too.  I can't help but wonder what Pope Pius IX or Leo XIII would have said about any future successor of theirs saying that they don't believe in a Catholic God?  Because if you think saying +F is a reincarnation of Judas is bad, you would have been pretty shook up over what Pius IX or Leo XIII would have said about our "doubting Francis."

(Thomas is 'old hat' -- now it's Francis!)

  • We should be praying for Bishop Fellay.

And we should be praying for Rome to repent for its sins and return to the true faith.

May God bless you and keep you

Well, of course we should always include prayers for the conversion of the
    enemies of the Church.

As related by Saint Anne Catherine Emmerich, Mother Mary even prayed for the conversion of Judas.

In the objective reality, such apostolic traitors rarely convert.

The post of "Apostolic Succession, Fail" was just to point out this reality.
Two men with Apostolic graces who failed their duty of state.

Bp. Fellay's case is a greater trajedy because he knows the consequences of Hell for the decision Judas made.  Yet, Msgr. Fellay continues to follow in his path.

Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor but a destroyer."  St. Francis of Assisi

In fact in some respects it could be said that Bp. Fellay is in a worse predicament.

Unlike the Pope, Bp. Fellay was not a baby of Vatican II, he was not steeped in modernist ideology throughout his clerical career, and he was not groomed, trained, & modeled towards ecuмism and religious liberty.
