We had an idiot come on here and post a list of private information about various forum members from CathInfo (and other fora).

You know, that was the most important and virtuous thing a Soldier of Our Lady could do right now, with the world as it is. The Spiritual and Corporal works of mercy, prayer, etc. are highly overrated. (Yes, I'm being sarcastic here!)

I removed all his posts in the database directly, but that caused some problems.

The old posts being bumped was the spammer's doing. He posted the thing to quite a few threads, including old ones. That modified the "last post" timestamp on all the affected threads.

I made the mistake of doing the delete directly in the database, which saved me some time at first.

Well, I found an old script I wrote that fixes this problem! I merely typed in a URL and hit enter to run the script, and it instantly fixed all the affected threads! No more "blank last page".

As for the bumped threads, just post on recent threads and the old threads will slowly sink down back where they belong.
