I've never seen a more obvious case of "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!"

Part of me gets a kick out of watching the liberals react to OUR actions. Like we're defining the debate, the battle, and choosing the battlefield. They're doing the catch-up, reacting, etc.

They're the passive principle, we're the active principle. They're the female, we're the male.

Much better than the alternative!

But it's true. Catholics all over the country INSISTED on going to the Internet to figure out what in the world is going on. Fr. Rostand's first choice was to forbid them, warn them (poison the well), scare them away, etc. but none of that worked.

Now he has to try Plan B, which is to give Catholics an "outlet" for their curiosity. But I don't think that's going to work either -- they already have official SSPX media organs they can visit (SSPX.org, Angelus.org, DICI, Angelus newsletter, Rorate Caeli blog, etc.)

I think Catholics are smart enough to know that if you're researching what's going on with the SSPX, you can't just listen to SSPX-run websites! You have to go to some neutral, or even "contra" websites, to get the full picture.

Now wait just one minute!

You Resistance folks are guilty of rash judgment and are being unfair.

Here is where Father got his blog idea from:

"Ask the rabbi" blog

I wonder if the Rabbi would like a closeup portrait with a wide-angle lens?

Get the camera about 10 inches from his face with a 21mm lens and
see what happens.

His eyes would get closer together and his mouth would be bigger,
and........... you might not even notice he's missing his tie.

From the blog -- Judaism has feelings, too! :
