Update for Mass Location near Ft. Worth, TX

    Mass near Fort Worth, TX

    Monday June 17, 2013 @ 6:00 PM

The room is in the Gateway Center, on Avenue E, north of Eagle Drive, northeast of I-35 E. via the North Texas Blvd. exit. The building is about thirty miles from DFW IAP. The estimated travel time is 30-40 minutes. There is plenty of ample parking.

Rosary and Confessions 30 min. before Mass

This was a big surprise for me, since I didn't know there was a Resistance in Forth Worth. I certainly don't know anyone on CathInfo from that neck of the woods.*

    * Except one friend of mine, but I don't think he's starting a Resistance chapel. Long story.

Now I realize that not all Resistance members are registered members of CathInfo -- but they should be! :)  This is the unofficial nexus of all things Resistance, let's face it.

There are those who've had the impression that reading forums is
sinful, because they've been listening to what Fr. Rostand and his
    minions had to say.

Maybe now that he's got his own blog it will shake them up a bit, and
perhaps they might venture into the 'real world' for a few minutes.

About 4.5 hours NORTH of me. So it would be driving UP, not down :)

But I need to get my own chapel ready...there's a good chance the same priest will be visiting us here again.

    Only so far?

Seemed like a longer drive than that.

It's quite a ways away, that's for sure.

  • What we REALLY need is a southern California chapel. Lots of folks out here; and lets face it, California is the place to be in a lot of regards- there are many people who often have a great means of donating to all sorts of causes (I do what I can, but unfortunately I am not one of them); I don't think there is anything wrong with the Resistances being one of them! Speaking in purely practical terms, its not like we couldn't use the support.

It seems California is always left out of the mix during crises for all trads- All the exciting stuff happens on the East coast/ midwest.  :smirk:

That's why the "Fr. Pfeiffer brown colored" website is so important because it's the OFFICIAL nexus of all things Resistance.

  • Sounds positive. Whilst tempting, I wouldn't abandon Ireland. I must try and visit America.

     I saw that last nite.

What  does it mean? Anyone asking questions of a personal nature? What's up with Fort Worth?

  • "questions of a personal nature"

OK, this has happened to me one time.  Some people who were not part of the Resistance came to an event and asked me personal questions about me and my husband.  It was really uncomfortable.

  • I have never posted here before, but I live relatively close to Fort Worth.  It might be worth the drive.   :scratchchin: Has the priest been announced?  I hope it's Fr. Pfeiffer!  I know him from a retreat in Phoenix.

If you'd never posted, you wouldn't have a reputation of 6.
